Lovely, charming hotel directly by the sea. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is amazing, daily fresh food with choice between different dishes. 5 stars because of the breakfast bar by the ocean!

Let’s not hide it, I’ve fallen in love with the place, so let’s dive into the reasons: 1) the owners – Maurizio and Michele are easy-going and highly supportive (we’d forgotten the medication, but the following morning, I was driven to the local pharmacy and immediately driven back (heart medication, so the speed really plays the role)); apart from that, we’ve always felt welcome with any demands (wheelchair and mobility issues), and everything was sorted out to our satisfaction; 2) the staff – from the day one, everybody was smiling, greeting and chitchatting (given the limits of my Italian); 3) the environment – the whole area has a small village feeling – seeing the people passing by, smiling and starting occasional small talks – I’ve had a lot of chitchats and fun with staff and other guests; besides, the garden is exquisitely designed and well-preserved; 4) the beach – private, secluded and equipped – what to want more? Actually, the beach bar offers the more; 5) the transport to Tropea – three times a day with the price of only €9, it is a day-trip to try – the local cathedral has unexploded bombs inside (for real) – and you don’t have to worry to get some prosecco; however, the local transportation does not exist, so you depend on the hotel transfer, BUT you are driven if you are the only person – my case, no complaints and even nice and informative conversation; 6) languages – my Italian is poor, so it is a great help that German and English are spoken; Warnings: 1) water – it is drinkable, but it is salty (not dangerous, just unpleasant); the case I have come across in several places across the Mediterranean, so count on buying some bottled one; 2) speed – the time is sometimes metaphorical – 5 minutes becomes an hour, a day tomorrow; it’s like 40°C, so I wouldn’t be running around as well; the speed limits and road signs are also metaphorical – be careful when leaving the hotel premises; 3) salt and sand – they are everywhere and leave their traces, so give up on the highly polished surfaces – the sea is about 50 metres away at most; however, it does NOT mean that the rooms are not clean – the maids clean them and replace towels every day; To sum it up, I shy away from the standardised experience, so I look for the small unique things and the hotel really offers them galore. So, if you are into discovering and diving into the experience, don’t hesitate. Stay gold, gentlemen; stay gold!

Nice hotel with really good customer service. There is a minibus service every day to Tropea for extra charge. 15 min walk to the nearest store. For a hot august holiday, it was good that this hotel is on the beach. For extra charge there is also full or half board which we also took. Every evening there is evening program at the beach bar. We felt warmly welcomed in Torre Marino.

The hotel is extremely noisy in the evenings. Our room was located so, that we could hear music playing at the same time from three different places until midnight. It was so unreal that we just laughed. We expected cosy a**osphere and place to rest, and this was definitively not that. Food was really awful, so we went to the hotel next door to eat. Pizza from beach bar was raw and tasted like yeast. Location is isolated, no shops nearby and there is a 9€ fee for the shuttle to get to Tropea and back. Aurinkomatkat was our travel agency. Didn't see the guide for the whole week, and if you would like to go to organised tours and trips, you would have to walk the winding, hilly roads to some other hotel. With almost 70 years of age, we decided not to go. In the hotel room all was worn out and a little bit dirty. Maybe this is what you get for 2 stars? The sea and the beach are very beautiful though. The only reason we stayed the whole week.

Very nice holiday village!!!!!!! with swimming pool, tennis court, bar, restaurant, private pedal boat and above all private beach. Not To Forget Spectacular Animation!!! Girls / boys Always ready to entertain and have fun with the guests of the village, not really neglecting anyone. 5 days Flown Really in a snap of fingers. I absolutely do not want to leave out the Tuscan Owner of an Involving sympathy ready to prepare the most disparate cocktails and breakfasts for his Guests of the Village

In and of itself the accommodation was acceptable, but the cleanliness in the rooms was of a lower standard. The bed sheets in our rooms were not changed once in our 3 week stay. The buffet breakfast by the sea was a disaster every day, but at least it was enjoyable. On the other hand, lunch or dinner was inedible on some days. The sunsets compensated us on many a day.

Booked through a friend for 4 nights ... As soon as we arrived with my partner we hear a furious quarrel coming from the "kitchen" of the village ... Let's talk about the room ... the tiny fridge leaked water, the drain did not work in the bathroom as well as the latch of the shower ... on the TV you could see 6 - 7 channels - the only positive note could have been the air conditioning if it hadn't been that it stopped every 10 minutes due to a lack of electricity ... ah, there was a useful thing between 15:00 and 15:30 if it was hot in your room you could go out and cool off thanks to the irrigation system in use at that time ... however, we must compliment the 1st breakfast, I had never seen such thin slices the slices of ham (shoulder) and cheese (basically a sheet of tissue paper) think that the latter melted in the trays ... but the strong point was dinner (having done half board ... less maleeeee). .. they handed over a sheet where the menu that they would serve the following day was written: 2 first courses, 2 second courses, 2 side dishes, still or sparkling water, red or white "wine".... apart from the portions similar to those from the Villa Celeste clinic from the film by Alberto Sordi... on the former you couldn't distinguish whether the sauce was meat or fish ... the latter you were forced to eat at your own risk so as not to spend the night standing up hungry - it's it happened one evening to replace a first course with white rice and we were told that they didn't have any and in addition it happened on the last evening that our order was not found - Finally, on the penultimate day, they asked us to leave the room because they thought it was 3 days and not 4... after the clarification they still make us change rooms which (apart from the fridge, had the same problems as the other one) - Basically the classic nigh**are holiday - Realize for yourself if it advice or not.

My partner and I have been going there for several years now. Seaside village. Our room was located 20 meters from the beach, clean with all the comforts of a 3-star hotel. The village has two restaurants, one near the swimming pool, where the customers of the village can have lunch. The other joined to the bar just 20 meters from the sea. In both restaurants we found good and always fresh food, delicious wood-fired pizza. In our opinion, a fair value for money.
