From the moment we arrived we thought this might be a disaster.. None of the staff seemed to know what was going on. The room with balcony was very adequate; it was spacious and had very effectively AC. The shower ran only cold. Both the breakfast and dinner were a disgrace. There was not a nod towards anything Central American just German fare. On the plus the gardens are lovely and the pool area very nice. For a hotel which is for international guests there was nobody spoke English. It is a great shame as the hotel was potential but nobody appears to be interested.

The staff goes out of their way for the guests. It is a breathtaking property. Love everything and my stay there. Best hotel I ever stayed at.

Panisté was a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area. The rooms were great, with really nice views of the mountains and hills nearby. It felt like we were far away from everything. The restaurant was really tasty as well, and they were very accommodating of my food intolerances (dairy).
I highly recommend the temascal - a steam room Guatemalan style, where a wood fire heats rocks that you then put water on to create steam in a brick dome.
We also wandered around the grounds, seeing all the gardens and coffee plants. The pool was also great - a little heated given the cool day we were there.
It almost felt like we were the only people staying there - we saw more staff than guests, so enjoyed some truly peaceful days during our stay.

Booked directly through Paniste's website and room subtotal came to about $213.00 When it came to pay at check out I was charged about $275.00. I was told that this is because I did not book by phone. Staff attention was good at hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Boutique Y Restaurante Panisté. The rooms are big, spacious and clean. The balcony overlooking the garden was nice and beautiful. We really enjoyed and loved using the spacious sauna.

GREAT PLACE TO TAKE A LONG BREAK WITH FAMILY, 100% RECOMENDABLE, AND DO NOT FORGET PRICES, IT IS TOTALLY GRATEFUL TO SHARE TIME WITH YOUR DEARS. ABOUT FOOD, NOT EVE MENTION IT, IT IS SO TASTY AND THERE ARE SEVERAL PATES TO CHOOSE, GUATEMALA IS WODERFUL!!!

We ask in recepción for raid, to kill not one or 10, at least 40 inscets in the room and they did not help us, it can be pretty but if they can not help the client it is not worse the price! Preguntamos en recepción si nos podían dar raid, para matar no uno ni 10 zancudos, al menos 40 zancudos en la habitación y no nos quisieron ayudar, puede ser bonito pero terrible servicio al cliente, en especial en recepción. Capaciten a su personal!
