A charming, old-fashioned hotel in an isolated, spectacular location. Food in restaurant is authentic and excellent, even if the service is a bit slow. I stayed in 6 places in El Hierro, and no question this one is the top as regards international service standards. I had a room with a balcony and it was lovely, with the only annoyance for me being that all rooms seem to offer 2 twins beds and none with one double bed, which is pretty common among old-style Spanish hotels.

Lovely resort in a beautiful and small local town. The beaches are only few mins walking distance. While I was lying down on a beach chair, I could hear waves. Breakfast Buffet has a lot of options. Only one cons: Wifi didnt work well.

I chose a semi-sea view room, and the front desk chose the corner for me. I looked from the balcony and found that many rooms were not fully occupied, and the kettle was dirty and full of ants. However, it is very suitable for a family trip, with a children's swimming pool, breakfast and dinner are very delicious, the restaurant has two restaurants inside and outside, and the afternoon tea area next to the swimming pool is also very good. Overall, it is very good.

The environment is nice and the scenery is beautiful. The rooms near the sea are very hygienic, clean, quiet and comfortable. The buffet is enough to eat, but the service of the waiter at the dinner buffet is really hard to describe.

Very convenient hotel as it is a few minutes by taxi from Tenerife South airport (about €15 by taxi), facing the sea, the view from the room is exceptional. The swimming pool, sheltered from any breeze with glass windows, is heated and you can swim (if you are not too cold) even in winter. The restaurant is a buffet with a good variety of choices, every evening we were offered a different type of dinner (Italian, Spanish, Canarian, etc...). Outside the hotel there is a beautiful promenade along the seafront, while it is surrounded by clubs and commercial activities (the commercial area is really small). The entertainment is limited to a few hours of live music, even for children it is almost nothing and there is no play area.
