Vitalpina Hotel Dosses

Fantastic hotel. We stayed here for our first ski holiday as a family and it was the best experience. The hotel is lovely and our room was spacious so we didn't feel crowded. Lots of storage and a lovely ensuite. After a day of skiing the outdoor swimming pool was a god send. Our daughter absolutely loved it. The onsite spa facilities were comparable to any luxury day spa in Scotland. Food was amazing and the dining staff were professional and attentive. Thank you Euduardo and your team. The ski taxi was a very pleasant surprise. Thank you Teodore for all your help. We were sad to leave but will be back.

Lovely hotel! We had a really nice stay here. I visited with my partner. The hotel room was lovely, quite big and very clean. The only downside is you get two duvets in the room on a double bed rather than one large one. They give hotel slippers and a dressing gown in the room which was great for going to the pool, they also left pool towels which was great. The food was lovely! Lots to choose from and always very tasty, the waiting staff were all very friendly and attentive, can’t fault them. We were half board, you have to order your dinner at breakfast ready for the evening. There was a menu that stayed the same each night and one that changed. There were 4 courses on both and you could mix and match. There were things like pasta and you could even ask for chips to go with your mains. They were very accommodating. On top of all that food, they had a salad/ cheese Buffett, you could not go hungry when staying there. Breakfast was also very nice, they had bacon, eggs, croissants and lots of cold meats. You could also order things like crepes which is definitely worth it, very yummy! The outside pool is great, you have to walk outside to get to it but it’s warm once you’re in and great swimming with snow all around you. You had to go to the second floor to get to the pool. It’s ashame as it shuts at 7pm which is fairly early when your out all day skiing. It only opens from 2pm till 7pm. I loved swimming in the pool which was surrounded by snow. The sauna and hot tub is really lovely, it was very peaceful in there and we enjoyed it every night, it was open till 8pm. The sauna is right at the bottom of the hotel in the basement, don’t miss it. Only downside is that you’re not meant to wear swimmers in the sauna. The hotel was close to the bus stop, it was opposite which was useful as I did the l ski school (booked through crystal ski) which was a short bus ride to Selva. The ski school was via ski school 2000 and the instructor was lovely. There was also a supermarket opposite which was useful for picking up drinks and snacks. It was quite expensive in there though. The town seemed quite quiet, we didn’t go out in it but had friends staying in Selva and joined them there where there was more atmosphere. There was a great bar that was underground with a brilliant atmosphere. The hotel had a pool table in the bar which was fun to play in the evenings (and free). We would definitely come back to the hotel, we had a great time staying there.

Rest in the hotel from December 23 to January 7, 2024. Everything was very nice. Excellent location, clean room, timely cleaning. Tasty food, including vegan. All staff are friendly. Warm and truly homey atmosphere. Next season we are planning a trip to this hotel again. We look forward to meeting the friendly owners of the hotel Helene and Oskar. Thank you for the excellent rest.

This was our 7th holiday in the Dolomites but our first at the Dosses hotel. We have been home less than 24 hours and have booked again for next year. From the minute we walked in the front door we loved it. Lovely calm atmosphere with welcoming staff making you feel at home immediately. We arrived about 3 pm and were told that Afternoon tea would be served in 30 minutes. "Afternoon tea" consists of meats, salads and wonderful cakes. Edoardo, the Maitre D made us very welcome on our first evening, with Cosimo our waiter keeping us entertained as well as fed and watered. The evening meals were fabulous. Viktoria works very hard in the bar a very friendly person who pours a lovely local gin and tonic. We made use of the outdoor pool every day as the weather was so good. Didn't use the sauna or whirlpool which we heard great reports about but again because it was so hot we never ventured downstairs. The hotel offers ski guiding which we took advantage of 4 times. Klaus is a charming local with great in-depth local knowledge. Having skied in this area 7 times before Klaus took us to areas we haven't skied before. The hotel has a great eco ethos, embracing sustainability, sourcing local products and recycling cabinets on each floor. All in all the best holiday we have had in the wonderful Dolomites.

What a hotel, what an experience. Everything from the decor, room design and spa area to the amazing food was outstanding but the most exceptional thing were the attentive staff. We have had the best stay in this wonderful hotel, it is extremely elegant and yet relaxed, big enough for all amenities and yet small enough to feel personal. The private mini bus which will drop you/ collect you from the local lifts was a huge plus and has made me rethink that ski in ski out is the best. We are now looking to return here next year as we cannot think we could ever beat this experience somewhere else! *Just a small thing but it would be nice to have tea on offer at the afternoon buffet

How many superlative compliments can we give Hotel Dosses? Not enough. This is our third visit and the hotel seems all the time to be improving! However, before the review of the hotel, lets start with the village. Santa Christina is not maybe so well known as the other near by villages, but in our opinion it is the nicest and most beautiful =＞ in addition not too big and not too small. Hotel Dosses is located in the middle of the village with wonderful views. The terrace in front of the hotel is the best of all villages we have seen. In the afternoon, after skiing, the sun from the terrace is magnificent! Also related to ski lifts the location is excellent: slalom or cross country (Monte pana). For example Iivo Niskanen trained here before the Olympics. The rooms are very good!1 The spa is extensive and the decor is fabulous. The entire hotel smells wonderful and is very clean. The heated pool was fantastic to use in the afternoons after skiing. One of the reasons people come back is the food and people. Multiple choices offered on the menus for dinner are healthy, gourmet, naturally sourced when possible, and local wine offerings are extensive. I loved the orange and vegetable juicers that allowed you to make your own smoothies in the morning. It is the hotel staff from the owners, to reception, to the bar, to the restaurant, and the cleaning personnel who make this such a special place. Everyone is friendly, helpful and they treated us like honored guests, NOT tourists. This was so refreshing compared to other places I have stayed. I want to say please come and experience this place for yourself, but I don’t want this place to become too popular. I want us to always be able to come back :). We travelled: two adults and four daughters.

We have had a truly lovely time at Hotel Dosses. The staff are so helpful and friendly. The room was great and offered all we needed. The heated outdoor pool was a joy after a long day skiing 😀. There is a full spa suite and fitness area but we didn’t use this although many other guests took advantage of it. Getting to the pistes and returning was made so easy by Gerhert who was very quick to find you - very efficient. A shout out to Klaus the guide who kindly helped me in our last day and to everyone for being so kind. Loved it and would definitely recommend the hotel. They are also very welcoming to families 🙂

This is a fantastic hotel. Ample breakfast, in addition to choices from a buffet, it is also possible to order food from the cook. After breakfast you will be driven by taxi to the lifts of the ski area. After skiing you can relax in the wellness area and then enjoy a delicious dinner again. Wonderful hotel for winter sports. The rooms are spacious and clean, cleaned daily and the staff are very friendly.

The best hotel team ever! From the smallest detail, the amazing cleanliness to the comfy beds and incredible food. The Dosses have it all. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, we were so looked after. I could not find fault with a single thing. We loved the commitment to eco/green thinking and using locally sourced ingredients that were organic where possible. The Dosses is the perfect stay for those wanting to feel nurtured and cared for, whilst skiing hard in the day! If you don’t ski then St Christina is a pretty town with great bus links.
