Dorfhotel Beludei

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Dorfhotel Beludei. All members of the hotel team were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Breakfast buffet was rich and eggs, pancakes were offered on request. We found that the dinner menu was a bit complicated. We would have preferred more simple dishes. Wine list was extensive comprising wines mainly of the region. A very efficient and flexible shuttle service to and from the slopes was offered. We will certainly come back.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 days while visiting Val Gardena and it was a really nice stay. The hotel is super clean and the accommodations are very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning is plentiful with lots of choices and dinner was always a delight. They have a great wine list with local wines to complement your meal. They also have a nice heated indoor pool and spa area to warm up after a cold day on the slopes. The bus in Santa Cristina is a 10 minute walk downhill (google says 18 mins but there are shortcuts via stairs). If you call them, they might be able to pick you up from the bus station if the walk uphill is too much. We walked it every night because it was a nice workout. Highly recommended this place!

We visited this hotel for a week for our honeymoon and it really couldn't have been better. From start to finish the staff were absolutely incredible, the service was personal and professional, we couldn't have asked for more. The rooms were beautiful and cleaned promptly while having breakfast, the spa facilities were immaculate and beautifully designed. The food was out of this world, you certainly won't go hungry and the choices they give you are amazing. The location is ideal, we were given a travel pass for the buses and trains so it was super easy to navigate to the trailheads without using our car. I honestly couldn't recommend this hotel enough and really hope we get to return again soon Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

This was a wonderful way for us to begin our journey into the Dolomites. Santa Christina is a smaller quaint town between Ortisei and Selva Gardena. There is not much in the town so having a hotel that takes care of everything for you is essential in Santa Christina. The hotel is immaculate at all times. The lobby and dining room are both warm, Comfortable and inviting. The staff greet you with smiles and kindness and that never changes. We stayed 4 nights in a Belsuite room. The views are amazing right off your private balcony. Parking underground was free and very convenient. Highly recommend to book the half board which gives you a full breakfast every morning at 7:30am. There is a ample midday “snack” which runs until around 4-5pm (huge when coming back from a 6 hour hike) and then a 3 course dinner (with some choices that you pick at breakfast). Food was really good. Simple flavors with reasonable portions for each course. Don’t fill up on bread, though as there is plenty of food at each meal. The staff were the best part of the experience. David the bartender and Sommelier was the best. Every night we allowed him to choose a wine for us. We went with local wines and his recommendation each night and all of them were fabulous. I tried single malt whiskey from Bolzano and even local Italian gin at his recommendation. He really cares about the “story behind the wine”. 5 stars for David. All the servers were wonderful but Angelo was the standout. His command of German, Italian and English was not unnoticed by us and he makes very guest feel special. Gave the dining experience a very high end feel and was as good as any place we’ve been. He notices everything and will approach every guest with kindness, patience and class. The spa is remarkable. Huge pool at just the right temp (we never saw another soul in the pool). The rooftop hot tub just cool enough to be able to sit for as long as you like. Finnish Sauna was super hot. I sauna and have stamina but this had me running for the shower every 5 minutes. Turkish bath also clean and fragrant. So overall we really enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend to anyone, especially as a couple. One more thing. Buses are free with a pass from the hotel so traveling between Ortisei and Selva is easy (but they get crowded and are not so fragrant (even in mid September)). Best hike was the Sassalungo circuit. We did the coffin lift to the top and cut between the mountain. It was raining and the trek between the mountain pass was a little treacherous but so worth it. The Rifugio Vicenza was amazing. Gotta go. Enjoy the Dolomiti!

Our second visit to Beludei and we enjoyed it even more than our first stay last year. We spent eight relaxing days. The staff took very good care of us. All our meals were a culinary delight and exceeded our expectations. The mountain treks organized by the hotel ranged in difficulty providing an opportunity for different fitness levels to explore the most stunning landscapes. Our room was spacious with plenty of storage. Large windows and doors framed breathtaking views of the Sasse Lungo. The large balcony was a welcome bonus. We can’t wait to return. The hotel was wonderful, the food fabulous and the staff could not do more for you. I suffered a ski accident and the staff were so helpful, advising and then booking my doctor's appointment. One of the best hotels that I have stayed in, and having had a long business career I have stayed in many across the world. But I can safely say that I have never experienced a more attentive group of hotel staff anywhere. I would highly recommend this hotel.
