Kasa rented several rooms in the Benton property as a hotel, which was like a second landlord, so the stay experience was not good. There is no price advantage compared to booking a room directly on the Benton official website. It is recommended to book a room directly on the official website.
shortcoming:
1. Kasa does not have a front desk. The three-person front desk in the downstairs property is staffed by Benton leasing, and does not support any needs of Kasa residents throughout the process.
2. Kasa guests are not allowed to order takeout and receive express delivery at the hotel. Kasa customer service will inform you after check-in that it is written in the Kasa contract. The final solution can be solved by contacting the Kasa manager and finding the Benton manager.
3. It is very inconvenient to enter and exit the room. You need 1) elevator password 2) parking lot password 3) vehicle parking lot password 4) room password. It is inconvenient to have to enter the password four times every day to enter and exit the house. If you are issued a room card and do not return it after self-service check-out, you will be deducted.
4. There was no service at all during the stay, so you had to solve the problem by yourself.

The location is great and the security is very good. But it is not a traditional hotel. There are several houses in an apartment used as hotels, so it is very difficult to find. There is no physical front desk, and the apartment manager gets off work very early. Those whose English listening and speaking skills are not good enough will encounter obstacles even when checking in. Because we arrived late, after checking in, we spent a lot of time figuring out how to get in from here. Finally, I found that entering through this door only leads to the lobby on the first floor of the apartment, but not to the room at all... There was no explanation of the relevant situation when making the reservation. The order stated that check-in was at the front desk. We were in a bit of a hurry and called the hotel's on-duty phone number. It took us more than an hour to get into the room.

When you think an "Airport" location, you think busy area with rows of chain hotels and restaurants. This was a beautiful location! The unit was clean, comfortable and the building amenities (roof top pool and weightroom) remind me of the Peninsula (only hundreds less per night). Walk through Santa Clara University is like going to a park.

Absolutely loved staying at this place! The best amenities/location/value! 8 min from the airport. And the coffee shop downstairs was a cherry on the top. The best service too - responsive and super helpful. Highly recommend, will come again.

I thought I was booking a hotel room, but it was the cleanest little one bedroom condo/apartment/dorm. Nicely decorated, super comfortable bed, full kitchen, washer and dryer. It had all the amenities of home. It was so clean, you’d think you were the first to stay there. Didn’t get pics of the room, but did of my boojee latte from the cute little coffee place downstairs ☺️

We definitely enjoyed our stay with Kasa at the Benton apartments in Santa clara. The location is awesome, the pet friendly facilities are amazing, the apartment was spacious and very well arranged. We received just the help that we needed from the virtual front desk. Whenever we called. We will definitely be staying again.

I had a flight that cancelled, which would preclude my being able to stay at the hotel, a full day and a half before I was supposed to be there. The hotel not only wouldn't even offer a partial refund, but also wouldn't offer a credit. And it' s like they are otherwise sold out, which means it's not because my booking didn't mean that anyone was turned away. Such bad business.

This is not a hotel. There are complicated instructions to enter and very little actual help or assistance once you’ve “checked in.” It’s all virtual - but also slow. I had no a/c and when I reported it, they said it would take 48 hours to address. I left the unit for 10 hours and they did nothing. There are many queries from chatbots but no action. It’s an impersonal and unsatisfying system.
