We stopped in this structure as the second stage of the Key of the Gulf Tour. Assuming that Santa Clara should be only a stopover of a few hours without staying overnight and go immediately to Trinidad which has much more to offer. The complex is far from the center but surrounded by greenery, with the consequent pros and cons. Varied and abundant buffet, mainly of Cuban cuisine. Nice plate where they cook meat for dinner (even beef) and egg for breakfast. Pleasant swimming pool, with a well-stocked bar and average prices for Cuba (a cocktail around 2 euros) Poorly maintained, small rooms, bathrooms and showers with a strong smell of sewage and often malfunctioning, we were a little more unlucky than the others with the company of a cockroach in the room. PAID WI-FI! (1h=1 euro the only hotel that asked us to pay for wifi in all those visited)
