"The hotel was very nice! The rooms were clean and modern and the service was great. We thought there would be a microwave in the room and there was not, but there was a sizable mini fridge so that worked for us. The continental breakfast was included in our stay and it was great! Several options and the food was very good. The room was quiet and it was located near many attractions, such as the Museum of Natural History. It was only about a 10-15 minute drive to the beaches and the SB Zoo as well. We had our 5-year-old with us and it was family friendly. Overall, a really wonderful stay."

"I called before arriving, asking about the bedding. I told them I was traveling with 91 yr. old mother and 67 yr. old sister. I am 71. They offer 1 queen and told me extra double would be very comfortable. It was a pull out couch. When you remove the cushions from sofa, there is a note pasted on the pull out that my sheet are in a bag in the closet. The pull out was metal springs. The bag has a top, bottom sheet and pillow with no case, 1 blanket. It took 5 layers of padding to make it sleepable.
All 3 of us left for the entire day and when we arrived to the room at 6:30 p.m. our used towels were still on the floor and trash cans were full. Fresh towels were delivered to our room from the common open area, not thru the hallway.
This stay was not what I expected of Marriott Residence Inn at $346.00 per night plus $15.00 per night for parking. Oh and there is a sign before you enter the hallways that tell you if your car is vandalized, Marriott is not responsible. Welcome to California in 2024."

"The hotel was nice and the front desk staff was friendly, however the AC didn’t work. They sent someone to fix it but he came, couldn’t get it working and said he’d be right back. We called a few times and they said he was coming but he never showed. We finally called to tell them never mind because we needed sleep"

"The room is small, the health is OK, in the town, just stayed on the 18th, the other did not say, the payment information provided by Ctrip has serious problems, I booked the room 3 or 4 months in advance, Ctrip App shows the user The famous currency is paid for, and it shows that I have prepaid, but I have to pay a second payment when I check in, and just brush the US dollar credit card, which brings two big problems: 1. I can't stay in normal mood. 2. I have already made a large amount of economic losses for the US dollar. This has also caused the price that was initially confirmed by Ctrip to be inconsistent with the price I actually paid. Why didn’t Ctrip have any hints at the beginning? "Very satisfied stay. Although I opened the door with a key 🔑, I found that all the facilities were exquisite and fashionable when I entered the room, especially the bath towels and floor towels were very soft and I felt that the quality was very good. There is a kitchen, oven, microwave, tableware, but I used the coffee machine, and there is coffee powder in the kitchen to make my own coffee.
Walking to the beach and the train station is very close, no bicycles have been tried, but the hotel can provide."

"The environment is good, there is a shopping center not far from it, there is some food. Hotel facilities are very good. Breakfast was good and very clean. Because of some small problems, the hotel waived the parking fee and the service was still in place."

GGuest UserWas here for 2 nights with my partner, and first time staying at a bnb. Was pleasantly surprised by how clean and conveniently located it was. It’s a short walk from state street, where all the good restaurants and retail shops are.
The breakfast was delicious and cooked with soul. The cookies were also a lovely treat. Highly recommend for a homey and enjoyable experience!

月月禅Breakfast is a typical Western breakfast, with cereal, bread, cake, coffee, simple but sufficient. The location of the hotel is superb. Go out and turn right and walk 3 minutes to the beach, and 5-6 minutes to the pier. The front desk service of the hotel is warm and thoughtful and very friendly, 24 hours a day, and I am very patient to call for consultation if something happens at night.

RrobertaAbsolutely wonderful location. The bike / walking path is a minute walk from the hotel, right along the beach. There's a little grocery store about a 5 minute walk up S Milpas St, so convenient. Lots of great places to eat within walking distance (1 mile) or a short drive. I didn't eat at the hotel. The room was clean but toiletries were not replenished, and my dirty glasses were not washed or replaced. For the high price tag, I would have expected that. The air conditioning in the room was great, quiet, and easy to adjust.The front desk team was very friendly and knowledgeable. My favorite people were the Valet team. They were fun to speak with, very down to earth and did their job well. Valet parking is $26.00 / night. I didn't see that price anywhere when I booked.

GGarciaThe hotel itself is very different in the way it blends in with the neighborhood, pretty nice in style and not what I was expecting for a Best Western. The hotel isn’t too far from the city center but also not close enough (which is why I gave a 4), but it is very very nice. I also gave a 4 for amenities only because I wasn’t able to use them as it was less than 24 hour stay, and I wanted to experience the city more. Overall, I did like it, comfortable bed and pillows and I believe I could have slept much longer if I didn’t have an 11am check out 🤦🏽♂️🤣. But overall I was satisfied and the staff both office and cleaning were very kind and helpful. ❤️ Santa Barbara is a very beautiful city and BW gave the right price for my stay. 👍🏽

GGuest UserWe didn't plan to stay in Santa Barbara overnight but decided last minute to find a hotel that will accept our dog. This Motel 6 was such a great find! The location is perfect (only a short walk to the beach) with tons of walkable areas and restaurants. The room was clean and provided everything we needed. There is also a local store close by that had many local beers if you're into cold beers on your beach walks.

At the restaurant at the door, I bought breakfast with breakfast. It used to mean breakfast deducted with $50. You can order it yourself. The restaurant is delicious
The highlight is the pool, you will love the experience here....a large piece at hand. The pool is warm water.

As another reviewer stated, this is not a luxury hotel, but it did provide very comfortable accommodations in a wonderful location near the beach in Santa Barbara. It even provided a covered parking spot for my car!

There are many restaurants, a great bookstore (Chaucer's) and a large supermarket (Gelson's) directly across from the accommodation. The pool is not heated, which is really not necessary in the summer. In the morning, coffee and hot water for tea etc. is available at the reception.
