The front desk is very strict. You must have a visa card to stay.
At the restaurant at the door, I bought breakfast with breakfast. It used to mean breakfast deducted with $50. You can order it yourself. The restaurant is delicious
The highlight is the pool, you will love the experience here....a large piece at hand. The pool is warm water.
The room is classic old money style

The style of the hotel is still somewhat characteristic. The room is very compact and hygienic. We live on the first floor, the sound is not good, the sound of walking upstairs is very large, the noise of the hotel exhaust and air conditioning is also very annoying. Booked more than one month in advance, more than 1,600 a night. It feels worthless.

Hotel Indigo is a quaint boutique hotel with both modern and traditional Santa Barbara touches. Its location couldn’t be more convenient, just a half block south of the train station on State Street. It’s a short walk to the beach in one direction and downtown in the other. From the moment I stepped into the fresh, bright, modern lobby I was greeted with warm smiles. There couldn’t have been a more welcoming introduction to my stay here. The staff was consistently available, professional, and friendly, ready with a sincere greeting every time I came and went. COVID precautions are taken seriously here and it was clear a lot of thought went into guest safety and comfort. My room was on the first floor with a private patio. The room makes the most of its small size with a clean, simple, minimalistic layout. Bright white walls expand the space while beautiful wood grain flooring and exposed brick on the patio side give it a historic feel befitting its location. The TV and air conditioning unit, both wall mounted, help keep the limited space open and uncluttered. The single closet/dresser/coffeemaker unit (a Keurig!) does likewise. Still, there was plenty of workspace with a large glass-topped desk and numerous outlets. A white noise generator was a pleasant surprise although the hotel was very quiet during my stay and it wasn’t really needed. The occasional train was not a bother. The European style bathroom is quite small as expected. The adjustable handheld shower is a delight. The highlight was the patio, large and well appointed with a wicker table and two cushioned chairs, surrounded by greenery and dark woods. What a delightful setting it was for coffee in the morning and late night snacks. I look forward to returning here in a few months. This property is truly a gem.

The hotel looks very well maintained. My room had a sofa and desk along with the king size bed. Big room for a hotel. The bathroom and sink area are alittle small, but very modern and tiled. The shower was excellent. The pool and jucuzzi were crystal clear and clean. Pretty big pool with a deep end of 8 ft. The location is about 8 minute drive to downtown, but there are several restaurants within walking distance. The area seems nice, don’t let the closed hotel next door scare you away.

Hotel location is good, 2 swimming pools. Breakfast is a simple continental breakfast. There is no problem with full food. The equipment of the hotel belongs to the old America, everything is old American furniture, clean and clean. Barbara is a non-smoking city. If you want to smoke, you can't be in the hotel garden. To walk to the back of the hotel, I remember parking at the hotel seems to be 30 USD / night VALET PARKING is convenient. Drive. Ride in the hotel's blue bicycle town. Remember to get a bicycle lock when you pick up the bicycle.
In addition, I would like to say that I am not satisfied with the booking service provided by Ctrip this time. 1- Ctrip's price shows that all tax-included prices are 1,000 cheaper than Booking and other website prices. So I chose Ctrip after comparison. But When I left this hotel, the hotel paid a city tax and two other items such as miscellaneous charges on the bill. I think there is a suspicion that Ctrip does not add these two items in order to show low prices. .Other booking sites have clearly written that Santa Barbara has a city tax, but Ctrip, hey. I just want to use this word to describe it. The experience is very bad. 2- I booked a double bed and arrived at the hotel. Hotel Gave me a family room. This made me very annoyed, so I went back to the front desk to ask what was going on. After the front desk inquiry, the front desk said that someone had assigned me a room type in advance. But the order was indeed a 2 bed room. Anyway The front desk waited for 20 minutes to be allocated a twin room.

The resort was beautiful, the room was comfortable and clean. We brought our golden retriever and it was a very pleasant stay for him as well. The location is close enough to the shops and restaurants of State St. but far enough away to be peaceful and not too crowded. My only complaint is the food. We ate at all of the different restaurants and each time we were so disappointed by the quality of the food and the prices were astronomical. I don't mind paying a lot for good food, but this food was worse than what I make at home and I am not a good cook! My daughter ordered the lobster roll at The Set and it was terrible. $30 down the drain. We had breakfast at The Roundhouse and the avocado toast was beyond bland. Then we tried lunch at the Terraza del Mar - I got a chicken Cesar salad and my daughter got a poke bowl. The salad was cole slaw mix and chicken, that was it. Her poke bowl didn't have the rice that it was supposed to have and was horrible, she couldn't have more than a couple bites. I would stay at the resort again, but would never eat at any of their restaurants again. Better to Doordash or eat off property.

The front desk service is not flexible, of course, maybe the weekend business is too good, there is no way to coordinate. Hotel environment is good, parking is convenient. Breakfast bar, not much choice.

The hotel is very good, the bed is very comfortable, the breakfast is very delicious, there is a special special offer, the hotel is on the beach, the beach is just a street away, the beach is beautiful. Parking service is also very good, but if you want to park in the hotel, you can only valet parking, you need to spend 32USD, the orange ticket given by the waiter must be collected, you must have a small ticket to pick up the car, when you go, it is recommended A 10USD tip for the valet parking attendant. The service quality of the waiter is also very good, very friendly to the children, and the children are very happy to play. I recommend everyone to go to Santa Barbara to stay at this hotel, praise! ! !

The Marriott Residence Inn in Goleta has been our families home away from home when they visit. My parents live on the east coast and come to visit several times a year and always stay here. It is truly a vacation for them. From the delicious breakfast each morning, to the comfortable room and amazing amenities in my opinion it's the best place to stay in Santa Barbara. My dad loves the pool, jacuzzi and workout room. My mom loves sitting by the fire pits. I'm always amazed by how incredible the staff is. They are so helpful, friendly and attentive to everyone's needs. I can't thank them enough! I would highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed.

RrobertaAbsolutely wonderful location. The bike / walking path is a minute walk from the hotel, right along the beach. There's a little grocery store about a 5 minute walk up S Milpas St, so convenient. Lots of great places to eat within walking distance (1 mile) or a short drive. I didn't eat at the hotel. The room was clean but toiletries were not replenished, and my dirty glasses were not washed or replaced. For the high price tag, I would have expected that. The air conditioning in the room was great, quiet, and easy to adjust. The front desk team was very friendly and knowledgeable. My favorite people were the Valet team. They were fun to speak with, very down to earth and did their job well. Valet parking is $26.00 / night. I didn't see that price anywhere when I booked.
IIrwinInn by the Harbor has a nice location, but a bit far to walk to the beach and to the business district. However, if you have a car then it should not be a problem. It has a lovely inner yard with some nice plants. The staff is very attentive to requests. The happy hour drinks and the continental breakfast were good. However, although the facility is clean, it can use some updates. Nonetheless, we had a pleasant stay at the inn but may look for other venues even closer to the beach or the business district.
GGuest UserHotel was very clean, and I have high standards! Staff was friendly and helpful. As another reviewer stated, this is not a luxury hotel, but it did provide very comfortable accommodations in a wonderful location near the beach in Santa Barbara. It even provided a covered parking spot for my car!
月月禅Breakfast is a typical Western breakfast, with cereal, bread, cake, coffee, simple but sufficient. The location of the hotel is superb. Go out and turn right and walk 3 minutes to the beach, and 5-6 minutes to the pier. The front desk service of the hotel is warm and thoughtful and very friendly, 24 hours a day, and I am very patient to call for consultation if something happens at night.
AAnonymous UserI checked into this hotel on Friday, so the price was 2,300, which is twice as expensive as usual. It is considered a motel in general. The decoration is American-style and parking is free. Some people have rated the breakfast very well, but I think it is very average. It only has some bread and cold boiled eggs. There is a tofu and vegetable snack. There is no bacon, sausage, or vegetables. The fruit is cantaloupe, which is quite disappointing. If around 1,000 is acceptable, then the service is considered normal.
GGuest UserGreat location, nice and quiet hotel, undergoing a refurb currently so could’ve been a little cleaner but all round great place to stay- breakfast was included and beautiful.
Just a short walk to beach, restaurants and parks.
Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
GGuest UserWe stayed here for 2 nights during Christmas time. The location and price was right. It is walking distance to the beach and warf. The room was clean but very small. We are a family of three and it was a tight fit. We didn't spend much time in the room though so it was fine. Since we came for Christmas we took the self driving holiday light tour. It was amazing! Highly recommended. The warf and boat tour was nice to catch the sunset.
The Oasis was better than I was expecting based on the reviews here. The pool area is very nice. Many spots to sit outside. The rooms are not huge but not tiny. A King bed, nightstands and a little desk. There is a fridge, coffee maker and microwave. While the location may not be ideal for downtown it is a cental location, very safe with many dining options in walking distance. There is a bus stop just a half a block away that will get you downtown in minutes, for $1.50. The price for the room may seem high, but Santa Barbara is very, very expensive, especially in prime-time summer season. I though it a fair value for the room and location. Lots of families while we were there.
GGuest UserI came in with my husband to celebrate our honeymoon. I spoke with Ella over the phone wanting to make our experience extra special. She was extremely helpful booking and picking treatments and responding to my messages very quickly. Ella ended up being the one who checked us in, and we were greeted by a gift and hand written card. It was so sweet and special. She even remembered our name which we thought was so sweet LOL! Check in was smooth and I felt so welcomed. Adi was so kind and helpful setting up my locker showing me around the facilities. I relaxed at the spa pool for the remainder of my spa trip and checked out with suli and Beth who were very sweet and even gave me a treat bag with some mini spa products. This honeymoon was extra special and me and my husband had amazing massages with Owen and Heather. We had a wonderful experience at the spa. Although prices were high it was worth it!!
GGuest UserCute renovated old hotel with the vintage elevator very charming. However, I booked the hotel because it was promoted as a hotel with a spa. However, it did not have a spa and recommended a spa that was several miles away. Although I think I might go back cute.
