We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Posada Nena with its very friendly and helpful employees. It's a good place to start and end your travels in Costa Rica as Santa Ana is calmer than San José, but still you have everything you need. Furthermore, the international airport is not too far away and if you want, you can reach San José center by bus within half an hour. The hotel itself has nice and cozy rooms, a wunderful garden and great staff!

We had a wonderful time at Posada Nena. Nice rooms and garden, excellent breakfast. There is no better place to start your vacation in Costa Rica. Volker many thanks for all your great recommendations and support. We will come back next year….

After Volker reviewed our planned route he told us that this plan wouldn't succed and so he was asked to make a proposal which we agreed and he arranged all accomodations for our trip. He proved a good hand. All reserved lodges caused us much pleasure. There was not one reason to complain. Thanks for everything.

Simply perfect located, away from the rush of the city, very smart posada with a great team to arrange your trips and activities - outstanding support ! The rooms are very comfortable, quiet and clean. Breakfast with fresh fruits. Team suports multiple languages, like Spanish, German, English.

Posada Nena is close to the airport, making it the best place to arrive after a long flight and start your vacation relaxed. Volker and his team take care of all matters relating to your trip in a very friendly and competent manner.

One would not know that behind the heavy fortress is a garden paradise and a warm welcome by the staff. We were treated so kindly by the welcoming staff and the golden retriever, Toby. The rooms are all unique and large with separate showers and bath. I recommend the upstairs room with the patio view of the lush garden where you can relax at a table and chairs or swing in the two hammocks. Breakfast was amazing including fruit, eggs, rice and beans, plantains, juice and coffee. It’s a short 20 minute drive from the airport and well worth it.

Die Posada Nena in Santa Ana war ein sehr guter Ort für den Start in unsere Costa Rica Reise: zentral gelegen, nahe am Flughafen, perfekt erschlossen mit den beteiligten Dienstleistern. Die Zimmer waren sehr zweckdienlich, den europäischen Standard der Infrastruktur haben wir geschätzt. Die Crew war sehr wohlwollend, freundlich und unterstützend. Und an Heiligabend wurden wir mit einem köstlichen Weihnachtsbuffet verwöhnt. Tuisig Dank für alles!

Ein nettes kleines Hotel, nicht weit vom Flughafen. Gut für einen Start mit dem Mietwagen. Schöner Innenhof, gute Betten, sehr aufmerksames und hilfsbereites Personal. Empfehlenswert.
