Insotel Club Tarida Playa

A really good all round family hotel. Close to the beach with the clearest water . Rooms were clean and functional and the buffet was plentiful with a good choice of foods. A car would have been better for us to get around although easy to get taxis from the hotel. Excellent staff, really helpful and pleasant ☺️

A wonderful holiday we all really enjoyed! Food was great, plenty of fresh, colourful, healthy food and hot dogs and pizza for the kids. Entertainment, when we attended, was great fun..... From a really impressive magic show, to a more intimate music quiz and lots in between. Hotel is about 25 mins from San Antonio but we only left 3 times in the week, other than to visit the stunning beach only seconds away. The staff were great too, Sebastian, Yulia, George, and the rest of the Team were engaging, funny, and really friendly. We will definately be back!

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Insotel Club Tarida Playa for a week during Easter. All of the staff were lovely, cheerful and helpful. Bar staff were great and even got to know our orders by the end of the week. The outdoor bar area was a fabulous place to sit at any time of day or evening. The kids club was especially great and meant that we got to have an hour and a half in the morning and another hour and a half in the afternoon where we could relax and chill by the pool while our little girl was kept entertained by Ceiba in the kids club. Ceiba was amazing and our daughter loved her. The mini disco every evening was great with Ceiba and Sebastian. Sebastian was in charge of the adult's activities and was very entertaining and funny. The restaurant was nice with a lovely outdoor area. Although the restaurant was a little bit small which meant on a few occasions we had to queue to wait for a table. Food was OK, lovely salads, breads and pizza, but meat and fish selection was a bit limited. Rooms were clean and spacious. Some areas of the hotel had some issues with leaks but didn't really impact us. The beach was beautiful and only a one minute walk away from the hotel. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and definitely hope to go back again.

The hotel like others have wrote is situated about 50m from a lovely little beach which offers the most beautiful views of the sunset. The beach has a number of restaurants along the beach front. The beach itself gets very busy from 10/11am onwards and can get very hot. We usually went down early in the morning and the evening for the sunsets. The only negative of the beach is there is a number of African hawkers trying to sell you fake football shirts and cheap rubbish. Literally every few minutes they disturb your peace. Onto the hotel itself, the location is very very quiet which is what we were looking for having a small family. Apart from the beach, there isn't a lot around. A couple of shops around 10min walk away. The restaurant, bar and most importantly entertainment team are lovely. All very friendly and can't do enough for you. The entertainment team need a special mention because the effort they put into entertaining all guests especially the children is fantastic. Out of all the hotels I have visited over the years, these guys are the best, 10/10. The food is your typical all inclusive affair, with a good variety of food to choose from every day. It was very nice and enjoyable. The pool bar also offers snacks and drinks throughout the day if you do not want to visit the restaurant. The drinks are all branded liquors and the beer is nice as well. The staff at the pool bar were very friendly as I wrote before and will do anything for you. The pool area is very clean and is bigger than it looks in the photo's. Plenty of space in the pool, even during busy periods. I loved the pool it was really nice and the temperature was lovely and plenty of beds available to choose from as well. There was entertainment on every night which starts with a mini disco for the children and then something for everyone later. We did not go to this every night but when we did it was brilliant. Onto our arrival we arrived at 1200 and were greeted by (Katy) at reception who informed us we could not check in until 1500. Now some people would be upset by this but this didn't bother us, we just got changed in the changing room in reception and went to the pool. However what we didn't appreciate was her rude and condescending attitude when we asked any sort of question. It is not what you want when you first arrive at the hotel. To be honest every time we visited reception and spoke to different receptionists they were not particularly helpful and generally made you feel like an inconvenience. Our room was located on the ground floor down the hallway close to the pool bar and it was clean, tidy and spacious. Despite it being close to the pool bar there is no noise on an evening, so if you have small children there is no need to be worried about noise.
