Came with my wife kids and parents to my favourite place in the world ibiza!!! As travelling is my job it’s nice to come to my favourite place on a big family holiday for a week and the hotel didn’t disappoint. I’ll start with the very few issues we faced. The hotel didn’t have the best air conditioning so sometimes it would get very hot and stuffy in the room. So much so that my parents moved rooms as there’s didn’t work at all. To be fair to the hotel they upgraded them to a bigger corner room with an amazing view of the med sea. The food was nice but if you’re a picky eater then you may find it difficult to find something to eat. However they have a wide variety of food with different things everyday they also have food there that I have never tried in my life so that was good. Also when checking in a group of young girls came down saying their room had not been cleaned. This annoyed the lady at the check in counter as it was obviously a bad first impression for us and the other family waiting to check in behind us. The lady proceeded to tell the cleaner off in Spanish to the point the cleaner stormed off before returning around 10 mins later apologising and cleaning their room. So bad first impressions. You can also tell the hotel is quite old as some parts were a little bit dated. But nothing was majorly bad or off putting on that behalf. I also think there could be some more music around the pool area as at some points it was quite quiet round the pool which could easily be resolved by investing in a speaker. However apart from them small issues (that most got resolved quickly) I think this was a lovely hotel and not to believe every review that you read. You get a lovely view of the sunset from the hotel which gives it a really nice vibe. The location was amazing as just down the street was a main road that had plenty of bars and shops. It also had one with a bouncy castle live music and a bull machine which was handy as next door was a bar where me my dad and eldest son could each Derby county’s (our teams) first game of the season. It was around a 10-15 min walk from the hotel. They also had many other great bars my favourite being the millennium only being 5 mins away from hotel. If you wanted to get to main San Antonio you could either take a bus from a stop just outside the hotel or by water taxi around 15-20 mins away from hotel ( a ride costing around 5 euros) The shops around were also surprisingly cheap aswell as the products were fairly priced in my opinion. The site was also really clean especially round the pool area and bar. On the pool watch your kids ( if you have kids) around the middle of the pool as that’s where it’s at it’s deepest at around 3 meters deep. They also have acess to the sea on site which is a great place for snorkelling as there’s a lot of coral Reef and fish around there. Just beware of where you stand though because there’s a few sea urchins around the rocks but if you’re careful you wil

We have been going to Nereida since 2013 before our children were born and it has become our favourite family holiday location. The staff really make the experience. They are friendly, attentive and just lovely people. They have seen my children grow up over the years and the kids pick this place over ones with slides/clubs etc because of the staff…and the food!!! We love the delicious buffet. My husband and I love the pool, the beach and the sunset chill area with great Ibiza music. We can’t say enough about how much we love this place and we will be back again in July this year!! Can’t wait!!

A mixed bag really., not really sure what I thought of it! We have stayed before., and in comparison, this time it didnt seem as nice. We paid for a Superior Sea View, firstly, if that was the "Superior" I dont think I want to see the standard, and the sea view, was actually a side view, looking at a scruffy apartment block. Meals, the staff in the restaurant are all lovely, the food, breakfast was OK, the coffee was awful, juices were superb, breakfast samey samey., I didnt like the two tiered system where some tables were reserved, almost like a Class system? found this a bit distasteful. Food was nothing special, we never ate lunch there at all, but evening meals were uninspiring, looked like school dinners for the want of a better word. The Bar., this was the biggest disappointment from the last time we stayed., drinks were awful, I only drink white wine or Cava, both were so cheap and nasty that I ended up buying my own from the Supermarket all week, despite being all inclusive., entertainment was pretty dire, the chap that sings was excellent, we have seen him before, but the dancers they had were just awful. The Lifeguard is an absolute Diamond, lovely guy and very friendly and helpful, hes an asset to the hotel., as for the Mum and Son Tag team! well, I just dont know what to say, maybe they were fed up as it was nearing the end of the Season? They were both surly and abrupt, they sometimes chose to ignore you, and made me feel quite uncomfortable at times with their attitude. Cleaning in the hotel was fabulous, I must say, our apartment was cleaned lovely, and beds changed and towels too regularly. I was surprised this time, how many stag and hen parties we encountered at the Hotel, they will say they dont allow them, but they do! All in all, as with everything, prices have crept up this year, and for what we paid to stay, I dont thing it was great value unfortunately.., its very tired looking now, and really needs an overhaul to keep it up to date.

I’ve just arrived home from another week at Nereida. As usual our stay was amazing and we were well looked after by Xenia and her amazing team. The apartments and communal areas are well maintained and we always feel at home there. Everywhere is so clean and the atmosphere is relaxing. Such a great relaxing vibe! Thankyou as always, see you next year xxx

The hotel has a good location..the pool and sea just off the wooden jetty are good..although the steps into the sea disappeared...mid holiday. Not many sunbeds which were very uncomfortable and umbrellas around the pool...at the top end it got very sandy underfoot. There was no sunbed hogging and we always got beds in the morning. The hotel room I had was very tired and needed updating..a lot of the furniture was damaged and fixtures damaged.. our view was not good but I didn't pay for a sea view... I found the food OK.. I could always find something to eat and although not always hot there was a microwave you could heat it up in.. The view of the sunsets at night were amazing. The staff in the restaurant always smiling and helpful. The hotel advertised as a family hotel but unfortunately mid week we did get some groups of young adults obviously using the hotel as a base..they did swear and vape around the pool and one day I did have to move my family because of this. The hotel staff I felt worked very hard...maybe a good refurbishment on the rooms in the block we were in and it would be perfect and kept as a family hotel.

The hotel itself was generally clean but a bit past its best. The room was adequate, with two single beds that are very old and stained with broken legs The shower was one of those where the pipe runs up from the bath taps & it was hard to control, moving from red hot to cold in a blink of an eye. The view however was great looking over the pool & out to sea. Super sunset The staff were generally friendly except for one lady behind the bar who seemed put out whenever she served you. The maid service too was hit & miss. Made the bed that was about it for 5 days didn’t even sweep the floor The all-inclusive drinks were ok The bar was open from 10.30 am until 11.00 pm for all-inclusive, then until midnight if you bought drinks. If you want to drink at the pool you need €2 deposit on the plastic cup The food was probably the worst I've experienced on an all-inclusive holiday. Breakfasts were usually fine with the typical choices of fry-ups, cereal, toast, fruit, and pastries. Lunch & evenings were a different story. Some days it was hard to find anything that looked appetizing at all and cold most days on occasion the fries were warmed up from previous meals, the meat often seemed overcooked, and warmed up again and much of the veg was too dry. Gravy or sauces were at a premium. I found myself eating all sorts of odd combinations just because the rest of it was so unappealing. The dining room was never busy people were out a lot. I never had any trouble finding a sunbed, even at 11 a.m. Umbrellas were sparse though. The hotel seems to be a base for younger people who are heading out for a night. I regularly heard people coming back at, 4 or 5 in the morning. They weren't causing havoc but you were disturbed by them walking past your room, opening & closing doors Apart from a couple of instances where larger groups got rowdy through the day it was pretty peaceful around the pool. The nearest beach was a 10-minute walk but it wasn't up to much. At the same location you can catch a ferry/taxi across the bay to San Antonio, it costs €4 each & runs every ½ hour or so. Overall I was disappointed. This is a 2-star hotel if you are lucky i won't be returning to this hotel again

We had a brilliant time, so much so that we have booked to go back same time next year and asked for the same room the views of the sun set unreal. The staff work tirelessly to keep the hotel clean and tidy and we found them really friendly (Clair, Marge, Claudia and Damien to name a few but they were all great) We found something to eat everyday, however we arnt fussy and like to try new things and if there’s nout ya like then you can make ya own burgers, hotdogs or toasties at the bar. There’s plenty of shops, bars and restaurants close by but if you want busier then it’s 20 mins on the bus 1.65 to San Antonio or you can take the water taxi across the bay £5 euros, worth a go or you can get a normal taxi about 10 euro. The pool is cool but a welcome relief when you’ve been sun bathing and you soon warm up while being active in it, you can also go from a swim in the sea as they have their own jetty though it was damaged in the storm while we were there and guess what the water is also a little cold but worth it. All in all we had a great holiday and cannot wait to go back next year
