Boutique Hostal la Curandera de Salinas

I am extremely disappointed and feel the need to share my experience. In November 2024, we booked two hotel rooms for June 2025 to ensure we were well-prepared and could look forward to the wedding we are attending in Ibiza. We booked early for peace of mind, only to find out last week that the hotel had canceled our reservation without any warning or contact whatsoever. Yes, we received an immediate refund, but that’s the bare minimum. There was no apology, no explanation, and no attempt to help us find an alternative—meanwhile, prices have skyrocketed compared to when we originally booked. We called the hotel multiple times, and while the receptionist was friendly and clearly not at fault, the owner repeatedly promised to call me back but never did. I cannot speak about the accommodation itself, but this is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have never seen a hotel cancel a fully paid reservation out of nowhere, let alone without even the courtesy of informing the guests. The fact that they made zero effort to communicate with us or assist in any way is simply unacceptable.

I stayed for a solo 24 hour dip on the island whilst on a holiday in Majorca (couldn’t resist). It was a very relaxing stay! The outdoor space is very tranquil and I enjoyed the sights and sounds from various different spots to enjoy each space. During my stay I wondered along the beach until I found my own quiet spot of paradise for a bit of naked bathing (clothing optional beach). After my beach visit I returned to the hostal and I ordered a lamb tagine for a pre disco meal and it tasted incredible! My room was lovely and was in a Ibizan/med style, lovely natural stones with wooden fittings and tables. After my night out it was the perfect place to recover and I felt so relaxed and it was just what the dr ordered, I don’t think any of life’s problems entered my mind during my stay and I thank the team for this. Attention Horrible customer service. They are cool for whatsapp discussions but to execute what they write in chat, is it horrible? I have been fighting with them for over a month to get a refund for a canceled reservation They are thieves and liars..

I came in to have lunch on my way to Ses Salinas beach. I heard most places had already shut down end of season on the beach so tried this place. Looked very pretty and inviting and seemed promising at first… I had to wait ages for someone to bring a menu having had to ask for one in the first place. I asked about the Chicken Caesar Salad… if it was with hot grilled chicken. I ordered it as she said yes. When it came I had 4-5 thin slivers of cold tasteless chicken slices on top of an unappealing salad with a dollop of dressing on top! Not happy, I told one of the waitresses that the chicken was cold? She was defensive with me and said that was standard for the dish (which is rubbish!) The other waitress was just as rude saying I’d asked about another Chicken dish??! Eventually I was offered to change to the other hot grilled chicken dish, which was bland dull unimaginative and a very small piece of Chicken with a heap of boring boiled potatoes! Definitely will never return!!!

Such a beautiful boutique hotel run by the loveliest people, nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to accommodate the 50th birthday party celebrations and our group of 21 who took over the whole hotel. The place is beautiful in its simplicity and laid back charm.

We had the most wonderful time here, the hotel has been newly renovated and is simply stunning. Bedrooms are all unique and beautifully decorated, the bed and pillows the most comfortable I've slept on. We travelled with a group of friends and were welcomed with open arms by the owner and wonderful staff, a huge thank you to Freyah, Barbara and everyone else at BHS who were so accommodating and helpful in every way. The hotel prepared delicious tapas and an incredible birthday cake for our group, the food here is wonderful and we will most definitely be back! ❤️
