We have just had the best girls holiday! We were nervous about the transfer to the hotels after reading some reviews but we had a Mercedes mini bus waiting for us and there were no drop offs on the way so we were checked in and by the pool swiftly. The food is typical all inclusive for Europe but we enjoyed it. We ate out on a couple of occasions just to break it up a bit. The staff have been fantastic - they got to know our drinks and had lots of jokes with us. Danny who is part of the entertainment works really hard to make everyone happy and ensure guests are enjoying themselves. We loved playing bingo and the trip the lighthouse - there are quite a few activities each day plus evening entertainment which we didn’t see much of as we always ate late. The clientele consists of mostly older people but we were all 39/40 and we bonded with the older folk who were lovely. The beach is wonderful, €8 for a sunbed (cash). There are shops close by, also further restaurants within a short walk. The cleaners worked really hard to ensure our rooms were fresh and the e always had fresh towels each day. We opted to pay a €10 deposit to have a hotel towel for the lounger which was fab and saved us more luggage. We would definitely come back again.

What can I say.. Absolutely beautiful, met with a welcome glass of bubbly.. Our room was ready and was absolutely stunning, spotlessly clean.. The view beautiful.. Our room was serviced every day, and coffee etc always filled up, the food was so good, and the restaurant team were allways on hand to help with queries etc, we are in the Al carte restaurant one evening, and everything was above and over,... The customer service was definitely 5 star,.. The location was fab, and the beach which is cleaned every day, and sea was so warm.. Delightful.. Plenty of entertainment on the evening,.. We booked a double massage, in the spa... That too was first class and very good value... We were so looked after by the sandos team.. Particularly Christopher, in the beach lounge/bar.. He took such attention to all his work, and our well being, making our holiday extra special.. We don't normally visit holiday destinations twice, but are booking to visit again next year... I want to take this opportunity to wish, the management, and all the sandos team. A HUGE THANK YOU... Well done... See you next year... ♥️♥️Thank you for our lovely cava on ice in the the room.

The hotel is fabulous set in the amazing Portiantx bay. Food is varied and good quality to fit most tastes. The staff are friendly and helpful without being pushy or interrupting your day. The entertainment team”DANNY AND ANA” were fabulous in making you laugh around the pool and at the evening entertainment… To coin their phrase applause, applause, applause

From the moment we arrived at the hotel I was fantastic think we knew we were in for something different, the receptionist was polite and helpful as we were early our room wasn't ready but she gave us a key card to use the Elite lounge which was stocked very well with branded beers, sprits coffee and snacks. we were in our room within 30 mins upon arrival room was very comfortable aircon was fantastic beds are massive. the staff at this hotel go out of there way top help as much as they can food was fantastic plenty of choice from breakfast lunch and dinner you will never go hungry at this hotel I will give a special mention to Eusebio the bar tender in the royal elite bar this man works so hard but always has a smile on his face and made the guest feel very welcome a great guy location was just perfect just what you need if you want a quite relaxing holiday we've already book to go back in may

We had a late evening arrival and were met with friendly staff and a glass of fizz. The tourist tax was €33 for two people . Our room was near reception which was comfortable and clean and towels were changed every day. We could hear reception staff talking in the mornings from our room and twice the cleaners were trying to get in to clean at 9 am even with a ‘do not disturb’ sign on the door handle. The reception staff were very helpful in every way especially thank you to Arianne! The food was nice and plentiful. We enjoyed the Al a carte meal. Which needs to be booked . Lovely views over the bay from dining room. Reception rooms were clean and modern and nice and cool to sit in if it was too hot outside. It was 30° + when we were there. There is a bar inside and a pool bar and snack bar cooking freshly cooked snacks. The beach is down a lot of steps. We used it daily as the sun beds around the pool had towels on them before breakfast! So annoying!! We took a picnic blanket for the beach and used hotel towels which we hired for the week with a daily change and refund before we left. The sun beds are €24 per day for two and a parasol so hence the picnic blanket. The beach has lovely soft sand and the water is clear with bream swimming around. We were able to take pool snacks & drinks the beach. There is a bar further along the beach if you want normal % alcohol. There is not much around to do so we hired a car to visit the south of the island. This was €80 & €15 insurance for 24 hours which was nice as busses are infrequent.

Fairly basic hotel with pluses and minuses. Most of the staff are friendly, but receptionists are not as helpful. I wasn’t told anything about checking out or booking a courtesy room. The proximity to the beach is good. Literally just down a few steps. My friend has a walking disability and they put us so far away from the lift after explaining this to them. Our balcony was overlooking a bushy tree and ants everywhere. No option to request twin beds on the TUI website either so had to bunk up. Cleaning every day. There’s a funny drainy smell near the pool and the music was so loud and no one we spoke to liked it that loud either. The hotel entertainment people were very nice and tried very hard to get people doing their activities. The aqua aerobics was good fun. The pool area does need sprucing up as it’s so basic. No nice landscaping just screed floor. Everyone feels cramped and beds in short supply. People being quite selfish leaving their towels all day on unused beds. 20 euros deposit to use pool towels. Sunbeds uncomfortable and tired looking. Not much to do in the immediate vicinity as it’s a very tiny quiet town and the bus to Ibiza town is unreliable on the way back. So take 45 euros for a taxi just in case it doesn’t turn up. Food quite nice and cava is drinkable. I’d have liked some alcohol free drinks as I can’t drink booze all day. The sea is crystal clear with fishes and the best bit about the resort. Trips by TUI were pricey so you’re a bit stuck if you don’t pay for one of those as there’s nothing in the town. I definitely would go back to Ibiza as an island as it’s very pretty.

My husband and I booked this holiday for our first wedding anniversary and babymoon. As teachers, we purposely chose an adults-only resort in a quiet area, knowing we were travelling in peak season. Upon arrival, no special gesture or mention was made and we were informed that a deposit and a daily rate would be charged for use of a safe, that a deposit was required for towels for the pool and that the water in our room wouldn’t be replaced and that we should keep the bottles to refill at a fountain. We were subsequently given a meal voucher as we arrived late from an evening flight, which got us a disgusting cold bowl of vegetables from the buffet. We had requested a room with a sea view and instead were given a room with a view of a wall, car park and a derelict hotel. Our bathroom door was broken and our TV worked intermittently. The hotel is not fully air-conditioned, so some areas were like a greenhouse during the day. We saw other guests complaining about broken TVs and air conditioning units in their room. One lady was given a fan to compensate for this. There are no designated smoking areas so everyone smoked and vaped around a cramped, dirty and noisy pool. The toilets are filthy and there aren’t enough beds for the number of guests unless you are willing to reserve your space with a towel early in the morning, which we had hoped to avoid in a 4-star all-adults resort. The worst part of this hotel, however, has to be the food which was tasteless and incredibly poor quality. We have never been to a hotel where some of the food has actually been inedible. There were no fresh juices or coffee for breakfast and fish off the grill was virtually raw on the inside, which was not ideal at 23 weeks pregnant. Being in Ibiza, we expected a fresh range of meats, cheeses and seafood, but this was rarely available or it was unfit to eat. The fresh bread, however, was a life saver and got us through most of the week. We did try the á la carte restaurant one evening, which was actually even worse. The highlight of the hotel is the local public beach, which despite also being rammed with people, was beautiful with a clear sea. Twice our room was cleaned without bath towels being left, meaning we had to go to reception and request some after a day at the beach. The second time this happened, we were told we would need to wait 15mins until the maids had had their dinner before we could get these. We didn’t receive them until an hour later. When we enquired about a late checkout as we had an evening return flight, we were told that they would only be able to confirm in the morning and that it would incur a 35 euro fee. You had to pay to use the pool tables in the bar and the availability and choice of excursions were limited and expensive. When we complained to two TUI reps about our experience, one offered to relocate us to a family hotel at an additional charge. When we asked about rescheduling our flights to leave earlier in the week instead, he said the

7 days at this hotel. Weather has been cloudless and very hot. Hotel is not big but is very smart and chic. The staff have been excellent the entire holiday. Room is comfy , aircon excellent , food excellent. We walked to the Lighthouse with Danny on Monday. Went to Dalt Villa Tuesday on the 21A bus. Cala Xarraca Wednesday . Walked to the Tower with Danny also. Spent Thursday morning in Santa Eularia. The bus is a very cheap way to travel here. I would recommend this hotel highly.

My husband and I in the 18 years we have been together had never booked a package holiday let alone an all inclusive one, so this is our first all inclusive holiday so I appreciate we don't have a bench mark for comparison and having read other Trip advisor reviews we were feeling apprehensive. Our main criteria was to chill out. We booked with Tui from Manchester and whilst the flight times were very late evening/early morning the transfer and check in was super easy. We arrived at Sandos El Greco at 01:30 in the morning on the Monday, reception is 24 hours. Room - We had room 115. I must admit we were a little disappointed with room because of the balcony, but in terms of how the room was sold it was a room with balcony and not room with balcony and view. We felt our options would be to see if we could switch rooms but we had unpacked, and we felt the hotel would probably be at full occupancy. So we just decided that we would unlikely to be in the room for long so a view wasn't important and that happened to be true. The only other issue we had with our room was we couldn't get the Air con cool enough, we did mention to reception and I believe some one may have looked at this but still wasn't cool enough for us. Probably tricky for the hotel as I see many reviews point out that some rooms are too cold. In the feedback form we did suggest to the hotel that maybe a privacy type of barrier/foliage on the balcony would be useful as when you come down the stairs from other floors they could look straight into the room so just had to be conscious of being dressed decently. Finally our shower gel wasn't refilled while we stayed and we did run out a few days before we left. luckily we had a mini shower gel of our own but trying to reduce luggage weight meant we had travelled with the minimum amount of toiletries. We saw in previous reviews mentions of water pressure/temperature etc. Yes we noticed this but to us felt like a non issue. Water is precious commodity on the island, and it only took a few seconds if the water went hot or cold to settle again. We also had a mini fridge and 3 x 1lt bottles of water when we arrived however we refilled our water flasks at the various water refilling stations. Staff - all the staff were great. Clearly they all work very hard and were attentive. Some of the bar staff would remember what drinks we had. Food/Drinks - Personally we found the choice superb. I know previous reviews said food was samey, we never found this apart from breakfast but that's only because everything you could think of was already offered at breakfast so not sure how you could vary it anymore. Again for our tastes we did find some things sweeter than we do at home like the juices, (peach ice tea tasted like cola) and the machine coffee. Our tip would be to skip the coffee in the dining room and opt for a filter coffee after breakfast from the coffee bar. Whilst there we sticked to the drinks that we knew we liked rather than mixing it
