A short mini break away and we upgraded to Elite. Elite - Nice to have branded drinks and own bar by sunbed area. Elite - No room upgrade to sea view available. Elite - Glass box had mini black flies present on several different occasions. Elite - Bar restocked in room with soft drinks/beers. Elite - Safe included (€5 refundable deposit) Elite - Beach towels included at no at extra cost/deposit All Sunbeds were packed in like sardines although in Elite they did overlook the beach. This hotel is not a 4* at best it’s a low 3*. Hotel is NOT suitable for those with mobility issues. Lifts only in hotel to accommodation/indoor bar/reception. Overall Negatives: - 1 Pool was not big enough to accommodate hotel at full capacity and from Elite area was a trek in the heat - Too many steps to access/exit pool - Breakfast did not open until 8am - Everything stops at midnight, literally lights out and go to bed - Towels were not always clean and at one point not enough towels were provided for number of guests in room - Glassware not always clean/washed properly - Food not always hot - Restaurant seating limited for sea views if table for more than 2 persons - Branded as a “Wellness Centre” - massages were overpriced and apart from Yoga I did not see any other “wellness” activities - Sunbeds being reserved from 5am and then not used throughout the day - Beach towels could only be changed for fresh towels at reception between 9-11am - Pool opens from 10:00am - Pool closes at 19:00hrs and pool area cleared for evening entertainment from 19:30 onwards - Lots of trees in Elite area dropping needles/fruits and needed to be cut back/tidied Overall Positives: - Air con working in room and bar areas - Rooms clean - Nice wines - Food variety - Majority of staff pleasant Summary: Would I return? No Would I recommend? No, this is not a 4* resort

This was our first experience as a family with two sons age 18 and 16 and was a great holiday. We chose the elite rooms which I’m glad, better rooms with a lovely sea view, a separate quieter area over the beach for day time sun bathing and a separate bar with branded drinks. I don’t think you have to chose this but it did seem a bit crowded around the pool area and there was a rush for the pool sun-beds although there always looked like you could get some spare ones. We could access the elite area at 7.00am while others waited until 7.30. I am an early riser but you could always get some beds in the elite area. This hotel is lovely for a four star. Clean and lovely food, drink and service. All the staff in this hotel are lovely and go all out for cleaning the rooms and pool areas, cooking and serving food, entertainment staff and serving drinks. Thank you to Eusiobio in the elite beach bar ( sorry if I’ve i have spelt your name wrong) for our lovely cocktails and for always being there to chat. We used a lot of the entertainment which was provided by Hugo(Pablo) and Fanni and we enjoyed yoga, pilates, darts, bingo , table tennis, pool and evening entertainment. Thank you for making it personal although TRex is still gutted he didn’t get a medal. This hotel is in a peaceful area so don’t go if you want to have a lively stay and don’t go if you have mobility problems but do go if you want a chilled holiday with everything provided on site and if you want a lovely clean room in a beautiful spot next to a beautiful beach with good food service and friendly staff.

We enjoyed 7 nights here. B&B. The area was as we expected, a smattering of restaurants and a few bars. The beaches are stunning. The hotel staff were really friendly and genuinely looked like they enjoyed their work. The pool area was cramped. The British get down there early with their towels and the beds are all claimed before 9am. Thankfully the beach is a stones throw away. The room was spacious with a big comfy bed. A decent shower and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was delicious and there was lots of options. After our flight was cancelled we needed to stay an extra night. Reception staff were fantastic in organising this. Their humour, energy and professionalism was truly outstanding.

Going to start by saying that the area is lovely. quiet and great for walking. I'm going to divide this review into 3 sections after my day 1 experience, Good, Bad and Middling. To start I'm actually going to complain about a free upgrade that I got. So Day 1 we get to the hotel and check in. We were given room 08 which is below reception and just over the entertainment booth. I'll insert pictures below. It was a very large room but the bathroom looked very tired, a spa bath and shower but the grout was just layer and layer of silicon and looked tired and did not look good. Second thing was that the view was not a sea view and i will die on that hill, as you can see from my picture when you stand at the door and look out you are looking at and embankment and trees, to see the sea you have to go to the edge of the balcony and look left, that to me barely counts as partial sea view if at all but reception said it is sea view. thirdly the air conditioning unit was very loud, something was loose i asked for it to be looked at and the maintenance guy came in and just hit it really hard twice. the noise stopped for 20 seconds and started up again. We were moved rooms as I wouldn't be able to sleep with that and we were moved to room 16, which was one floor above reception over the bar. it actually faces the sea so we were happy although quite noisy but that stops at 11pm ish. The room was much smaller than the last so i called easy jet to ask for some form of compensation as i booked an "Elite room with sea view" and presumed that the larger room was that, I received an email saying that the 08 room is actually an upgraded suite called "Executive Elite room with sea view" we got for free so our new room was what we should have got. No one told me we were upgraded for free hence my original complaint to easy jet. The Good: Staff are amazing in the elite areas really friendly and everything is really clean and well looked after and a large area with snacks served all day. The elite area being on the beach meaning you can just swim in the sea and come back. You will never have to get up early as elite because there's always sunbeds available. The area around the hotel was amazing and so peaceful with restaurants and walks and cove beaches The Bad: My shower in 16 had a mind of its own and low water pressure, no matter where you put the temp it just cycles boiling hot and cold on its own, but i didn't want to complain again. The pool bar has loads of seating against the wall and all the tables have no smoking signs but people just smoke anyway and it really smelled especially in the evening. Staff didn't mention it when i told them. No concierge service, if you are in the rooms below the restaurant there's no lift so you have to carry your cases and bags up and down 2 sets of stairs (if you are 0? or 00?). there are only lifts for the upper floors and restaurant level. Reception are too quick to get you away from the desk, they tell you where

Had a lovely relaxing week at this beautiful hotel, room lovely, and got cleaned every day with fresh towels, food was also nice and great variety. But sadly on my last day i lost my balance going up the steps and fell and fractured my arm, would just like to thank the staff for the support they gave me, especially the girl from reception can't remember her name but she was very helpful and got me all the help I needed so thank you very much it was very appreciated.

After booking the hotel and then reading into detail the reviews we were unsure what to find with food, the pool and sunbeds. The hotel itself is average at best, it was clean and all the staff were lovely and friendly. The only saving grace for the holiday was the beach and the view, without this we’d have been very disappointed. The reception area was large but this was probably the only spacious area. On arrival there was no where to get changed for the day, other than the toilets and we had to wait almost 4-5hrs for our room. The pool is not big enough for the number of guests it is meant to serve. The sun beds are cramped together mostly in lines which means that you have to accept other people’s umbrellas being up and you may not get full sun. We managed to get a sun bed every day by heading down for 9am but we were limited on choice. Drinks are cheap, however as I don’t drink spirits and I stick to the fizzy wine and Amstel Radler things were ok for me. I was not there to make the most of the inclusive drinks. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of selections for everyone to enjoy. We didn’t really have lunch so cannot comment. For dinner there was always an Italian station with pastas and pizza slices. On top of this there was always salad and fresh breads which was good. There was a fresh meat and fish choice daily, again though this was mainly pork, turkey or chicken and therefore the cheaper meats. There was also a huge dish of paella. The food selection apart from these was poor. Every day there was fries and then a mixed bag between a fish dish, some chicken, maybe some veg or potatoes. You could help yourself to drinks, but again I spent most days opening a bottle of wine which you don’t really want to be doing on a 4* holiday. Every area of the hotel is on different levels and therefore you need to be prepared to walk up and down stairs multiple times a day.
