For a reasonable price, very good value for the money spent. We (2 sisters) had a 3 bed appartment. The room was cleaned every day and had modern look and feel. Beds were comfy. Airco and fan easy to adjust Loved the shower (rain and normal). Little inconvient was that the water did not run away fast enough but on the positive side you don't stay longer then needed and save water:) The staff at the desk are all very friendly and helpfull with tips when you ask them. We had included breakfast, which was very good and refilled all morning untill closure at 11. Coffee is better from the bar, for which you pay but not too much. Just around the corner is a little supermarket that also sells sandwiches you can take with you to the beach. And for the water and drinks, snacks we bought them here too. There is a fridge in the room and also a hairdryer. We were warned about the noise (other guests) so we had earplugs and slept fine. The first two days were kind of quiet but then a lot of young partypeople arrived and they drank beer from early morning already. Not my cup of tea but hey they can if they want to... so not to much bothered by it, but took the chill vibe out of the poolarea. (Which is not so alluring anyways) We found our own sweet chill spots in the neighbourhoud: Gracianeta beach, 20 min walk, very lovely chill vibes but expensive food and drinks so bring your own) We took a cab to Saladeta beach (prepare for a climb with a breathtaking view), which was also a very nice sandy beach (Salada, which is in front of it, has stony beach). Off course it was already high season so expect crowds but chill vibes. We also took the sunset beach boattrip of six hours (float your boat) which was a beautifull experience. Food and drinks included, 2 beaches (cala bassa and cala compte, loved the last one, it has also a very good restaurant) and a swim with subs and stuff in the middle of the sea. Amazing sunset indeed, but you can also watch that every evening on different beautifull spots. San Antoni has also a less chill side with lots of mostly english young people lookin for drinking and clubbing. You can avoid that if you want to or join them... For us we did not hire a car but it is easy to do so and you can visit more places, but bus and taxi and walking were fine for us. Bus is cheapest, after walking :) Last but not least: for salsa and bachatalovers: go to the rooftop bar of La Cubanito!! Very special cuban atmosphere, great cocktails and on tuesday en friday you can dance here! Tuesday is the bigger party with more advanced dancers.
