Relais Villa Savarese

One of the most pleasant hotel experiences we have ever experienced. The property is beautiful and quiet. The staff are very pleasant, helpful and maintain the property to a very high standard. Our room had sufficient space for our luggage and bed was comfortable. It is a 20 minute walk into Sorrento,but to be away from the bustle of Sorrento was perfect for us. Highly recommended!

This hotel is amazing! From the moment you walk through the gates you’re surrounded by beautiful landscaping in the garden and pool area, which continues to the characterful decor inside the villa. Our room was comfortable and quiet with lovely views of the pool. Because it’s not a large hotel it never seemed busy, and the a**osphere was tranquil and relaxing. The staff were all so helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The choice at breakfast is great, and all of the food and drinks were delicious. The location is good, being a short walk from a few restaurants as well as the train station. It’s also easy to walk into Sorrento from the hotel. We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely return!

Located in Sant'Agnello, adjacent to Sorrento, this charming hotel has been converted from a private villa. It is set back from the street a bit, and surrounded by lovely citrus and camelia trees that scent the air with a lovely perfume. The interior is spacious and beautifully decorated, with many bird prints on the walls, and a lovely library that opens to the pool area. Our room was quite spacious, with evening turndown service and air conditioning. The breakfast offering was sumptuous, with plates of cold cuts and cheese, breads, grilled vegetables, caprese salad, granola, yogurt, fresh fruit, savoury tortas, scrambled eggs, juice bar. We especially appreciated the apple strudel! And if that wasn't enough, even more petite pastries are brought out with the coffee. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was one mistake made (failure to book transportation as requested a week prior), but the staff member made a Herculean effort and found an alternative, which saved the day. (I would really recommend making sure that all requests for bookings are confirmed.) The pool was lovely, although be aware that it does close at 7, so no after-dinner swims are possible. While the hotel does not have a restaurant (beyond the breakfast service), it was in easy walking distance of numerous good restaurants.

Wonderful secluded place with very attentive and helpful staff. We loved our comfortable room with access to a nice sized outdoor space. The pool area and grounds were quiet and very inviting to relax or spend time with friends.

Amazing place. As beautiful as we can see it on the picture. The personal is also extremely friendly and helpful. It is simply a place to enjoy and relax. We had really a nice stay at this place and regretted not to be able to stay one more night.

We have stayed at the Villa Savarese in Sant'Agnello four times -- so it is obvious that we think the Villa Savarese is the perfect place to stay when on vacation in Italy. The Inn is small and beautiful, surrounded by a wonderful garden. It was (and still is) a family home and guests are treated like family. The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. Breakfasts are excellent; we had no need to eat until dinner (for dinner, there are terrific restaurants in Sant'Agnello within walking distance of the Inn). Sant'Agnello is a peaceful village, but it is also very close to Sorrento, Capri, Pompeii, and the Amalfi coast. It is very easy to go on day trips from the Inn to these tourist centers. But is is also often very tempting to spend the day reading and relaxing under the lemon trees in the Villa Savarese's garden.

We have just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay here. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk into the center of Sorrento but it is worth it. Feels like it's in it's own little oasis as you walk up the long drive. There is also restaurants and bars close by as is Sant'Agnello train station. The place was immaculate and the staff were really friendly and helpful and assisted with ferry bookings and train timetables. Breakfast buffet was good with lots of choice of hot and cold food. Would definitely return.

Wonderful Villa style place. Safe,parking and gated. Sorrento is wonderful food outstanding.
