Tenuta Negroamaro

The estate is located a few kilometers from Gallipoli, therefore close to everything, but in the silence of the countryside. We stayed in this property in the week from 16th to 21st February. We were practically 3 adults, since my almost adult son was with us. The estate is not very large but it is very beautiful and well looked after, with a few independent suites, quiet, quite spacious and very well furnished, even if in some aspects not very functional. It is clear that it is a structure designed more for the summer period, rather than to be used all year round, but this did not prevent us from spending the period in the best possible way, thanks also to the availability and courtesy of the staff. Joanne and the kitchen guys made us feel at home, meeting our needs and pampering us in every way. The "suites" consist of a bedroom and a bathroom with shower and are equipped with either a small garden with an external shower or a private swimming pool. The only inconvenient aspect is the positioning of the sinks which are in the room and not in the bathroom, thus taking away some privacy for the guests. In our case the staff had added a camp bed with a mattress to allow us to all be together, the dimensions of which were a little small; let's say it was more suitable for a child than an adult. The bathrooms lack a bidet, but the toilet is equipped with a hand shower. The restaurant has few tables inside, but is equipped with a beautiful living room, where you can relax, which overlooks the swimming pool perfectly integrated into the rural environment, framed by stone and olive trees. In addition to breakfast, there is the possibility of eating in the structure upon prior request and, to the extent possible, to agree on the menu. The cuisine is very good and offers typical dishes of Salento and Puglia culture. Many products are zero km, as they are typical of the estate, such as the citrus fruits with which they produce an excellent jam: we loved the mandarin jam. In one part of the garden there are some animals including chickens, ducks and a beautiful family of pigs *******a: mum, dad and little daughter Maya. Finally, we cannot fail to mention the facility's mascots Miluna and Borzi, two very sweet piebald Jack Russells, who welcomed us and made us miss our little dogs left at home less. We plan to return to this estate in spring, so as to take full advantage of all the comforts it offers. Absolutely recommended place.

What can I say, we're at home now. Everything always lives up to expectations. Every time leaving is a blow to the heart. But we will be back very soon. Thanks as always to Federica Joanne and Richard who manage to make you feel the emotion of feeling at home.

Superb location chosen precisely for the need to be in a noise-free and relaxing environment; The suite is truly beautiful, complete with the necessary amenities, bathroom products, espresso machine and private tub surrounded by reeds (with little privacy however due to the constant passage of those mowing the grass or cleaning the rooms next door chatting loudly and to the neighbours) Jessica's welcome was wonderful, she professionally and punctually showed us around the complex, highlighting the rules of civil and hygienic behavior in the swimming pool, even if they are well known to those who are used to travelling, showering before each use, as well as the very welcome welcome cocktail, dinner and breakfast, excellent and served excellently by the exquisite staff. The stay was truly relaxing until the afternoon when a group of people with children in tow "lived up" the swimming pool with loud conversations and shouts that relaxing due to paying guests is annoying: perhaps it requires a lifeguard to respect the rules set out above and to clean the sunbeds and the pool from leaves and various insects once. In fact, the above behavior was truly unwelcome due to the interruption of the necessary quiet at around 4.30pm due to the inappropriate behavior of these guests of the owner, who was also taking part in the nice reunion for a couple of hours; the same ones without a prior shower (also recommended to us) rushed into the pool as soon as they arrived with continuous and noisy dives, one child even dived in with his t-shirt on, and kicked balls that passed from the external area into the water without caring either about the lack of hygiene or of the disturbance caused to guests on site as if they were at the seaside and certainly not in an estate of a certain level. More than the lack of ice or finding the car completely dirtied by jets of water or the sounds of emptying glass bottles at 11pm or the noisy passing of wheelbarrows, we were therefore shocked and disconcerted by the disrespectful behavior in the swimming pool that made us abandon the idea of ​​booking immediately for the next weekend considering the behavior of the property as absolutely inappropriate, which can certainly accommodate anyone subject to absolute and essential respect for the guests and the basic rules of hygiene and silence due to the guests. Certain inefficiencies are unacceptable in a resort that would like to place itself in a medium-high range in Puglia

The structure is simply perfect: from the furnishings, to the impeccable and very kind staff, through to the 0 km vegetable garden, the main swimming pool and the private ones of the various rooms. Nothing is left to chance, even the cuisine and breakfast are truly delicious. Really congratulations!

What an enchanting place! Surrounded by greenery, the structure is cared for down to every detail. The rooms, bathrooms, accessories in the name of an elegant, refined, beautiful and functional style. I had dinner there and the Chef really has a happy hand: simple vegetables become classy, ​​refined and delicate dishes... A place to return to every time you want the best!
