We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The standard rooms are fine and very clean. The lobby bar was cozy with a nice fireplace, quite areas with nice furniture and fair bar prices. The breakfast was excellent, and the half board dinner was delicious and fair priced. The wellness area was just perfect, small but with a good variety of saunas.

We really enjoyed the cosy lounge with bar - the span area is very well kept and super clean. We stayed during winter, but the out door pool looked so amazing. Beautiful with views to the pine forest. we will definitely come back

First of all, I picked this hotel because we were in Hamburg and wanted to stay in a 4-5 start hotel not so far away. The hotel was easy to get with. I will go through what I felt was good and not so good at the hotel : Hits - The room itself was excellent and very comfortable. A good mini bar and excellent shower. - A lovely swim/sauna area. (The fitness area was too small to rate) - A big thank you to a number of staff. Sorry, I did not get names. The Ukrainian lady and her partner at dinner. Friendly, professional & helpful. The lady at the cocktail bar who was friendly, efficient & patient with going through the cocktail list for my wife. Lastly the night porter who went out of his way to supply an additional mini-bar beer to my room! - The dinner was very much hit and miss. We stayed half-board and the menu was very limited. 2 courses for starter and 3 for main course. The Chicken Cesear Salad was a good delicious portion while the wiener schnitzel was just delicious. Excellent combination! - The food at the breakfast. Good variety. Misses - Staff at reception and at breakfast. While not rude, they were very reserved bordering on being cold. They were definitely not friendly. Why work in a 4 star hotel? - €7 for a bottle of water which is free at breakfast and in the room. That is outrageous. I did not leave a tip because of this. - At the dinner, there was a vegtable essence soup. It was a type of broth but in reality was nothing but flavoured water which tasted terrible. Also the fish, which was tiny with a few potatoes and carrots. You certainly needed to ensure that you ate before dinner which thankfully we did! - This is definitely not a 5 star hotel but bringing bags to the room for guests would be a suggestion that I would have for hotel management to make their hotel stand out. Overall, this was a nice stay but I was slightly disappointed that it did not have that wow factor.

Im November 2024 haben wir uns relativ kurzfristig entschlossen den Jahreswechsel nach langer Zeit mal wieder in SPO zu verbringen und uns einen schönen Aufenthalt zu gönnen. Beim Stöbern im Internet stießen wir aufs Aalernhüs und konnten uns das letzte verfügbare Zimmer im Netz sichern. Wir waren noch nicht hier bisher und waren sehr gespannt mit hohen Erwartungen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das Hotel hat uns völlig überzeugt, aber besonders die Menschen, die dort arbeiten. Egal ob Empfang, Bar, Restaurant, SPA-Anwendung, Zimmerservice und Haustechnik, alle Mitarbeiter:innen waren super freundlich, hilfsbereit und machten den Urlaub zu einem besonderen Erlebnis. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und den Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genossen. Das Frühstück und Essen im Restaurant waren perfekt. Die Getränke und Unterhaltungen mit dem Barpersonal dito. Wir haben uns bestens erholt. Ein Problem mit dem Durchlauferhitzer (wir hatten nur noch kaltes Wasser im Zimmer) wurde komplikationslos durch Haustechnik und Empfang gelöst und wir erhielten umgehend ein Ersatzzimmer, sogar mit Upgrade in die nächsthöhere Stufe. Vielen Dank hier nochmals. Natürlich müssen in einem Hotel im Laufe der Jahre immer wieder Dinge erneuert werden, aber in diesem Haus war nichts in einem Zustand, der „bemeckernswert“ war. Wir kommen gerne wieder und freuen uns schon jetzt auf einen erneuten Aufenthalt.

Ein wenig zu früh angereist. Viele Parkplätze vor Ort. Zimmer nach kurzer Nachfrage des Empfangs trotzdem schon bezugsfertig. Vielen Dank dafür. Sehr gute Informationen über das Hotel am Empfang. Das gebuchte Zimmer mit Balkon sehr schön,geräumig und sauber. Den Preis wert. Frühstück alles da was das Herz begehrt. Frisch zubereitete Eierspeisen zudem auch möglich. Poolbereich sehr schön. Alles in allem ein angenehmer Aufenthalt den das freundliche Personal noch aufwertete. Ein Kurztrip der nach Wiederholung ruft.

Wir haben ein paar Tage Ferien in diesem ruhigen Hotel gemacht. Es liegt etwas abseits der Zentren. Der Empfang war etwas durchzogen jedoch freundlich. Das Zimmer war angenehm gross mit ebenso einem Bad. Grundsätzlich war alles sauber und das Zimmer beinhaltete alles, was man braucht. Es hatte einen SPA-Bereich mit einem Aussenpool, was vorallem bei schlechtem Wetter zum Tragen kam. Das Frühstück beinhaltete alles, was der Feriengast begehrt. Verschiedene Eierspeisen wurden auf Wunsch zubereitet, Waffeln konnte man selbst backen. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Etwas gestört haben die Kinder, welche den Esssaal als Rennbahn benutzten, sowie die vielen Hunde, welche durch den Esssaal auf die Terrasse geführt wurden. Preislich ist diese Hotel sicher an der oberen Grenze.

Schönes, gemütliches Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Ganz tolles Frühstück mit viel Auswahl von sehr guter Qualität. Unser Zimmer war etwas in die Jahre gekommen und musste daher regelmässig gelüftet werden. Etwas enttäuschend war der Spa Bereich - Innen- und Aussenpool waren extrem kalt und daher nicht zu nutzen - schwierig, da ich das Hotel für den Pool ausgesucht hatte und daher bereit war, den hohen Zimmerpreis zu zahlen - stattdessen hätten wir für die Dünentherme zahlen können und eventuell ein etwas günstigeres Hotel aussuchen können.

Wir bewohnten eine geräumige Juniorsuite mit Blick auf die Pool- und Gartenlandschaft. Die Betten waren bis auf die Kissen sehr bequem. Diese waren für unseren Geschmack etwas zu dünn. Wir haben aber auch nicht nach einer Alternative gefragt. Das Frühstück, sowie das Abendessen waren lecker. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht. Alternativen bei einer Lebensmittelunverträglichkeit wurden berücksichtigt und ein geeigneter Ersatz angeboten. Hervorragende Weine, die sich dank der guten Kenntnisse des Personals zu einem wahren Genuss entwickelt haben. Dieses Hotel ist empfehlenswert und wir kommen gerne wieder.
