We stayed at this hotel for a week - first week of July as a family - with two young children. I give this hotel an absolute 5 stars! The staff were absolutely friendly - at the front desk, at breakfast at dinner, or anytime we had a question. The hotel and rooms are beautiful. We had a one bedroom - on the 1st floor with a beautiful terrace with magnificent views. The views are 360, stunning! Food: more selection than you'll ever need and excellent - we all enjoyed every thing we ate, including the kids - they had fantastic options for them too. Breaksfast time you could make a fresh juice, they had fresh smoothies, kombucha, you name it. Location: perfect - gondola across the street and if you do not want that one, then drive a bit to the next one. Hiking trails everywhere - we hiked every single day of the week and of course, still did not see everything. Pool : after a big day hiking, we would go back to the hotel for a swim before dinner. Outdoor pool was fantastic - kids loved the slide. It was heated (not sure what temperature) but it was perfect. Indoor pool also lovely - great if you get a rainy day! We enjoyed our time here so much - thank you to all the staff - magnificent :)

As we are travellers by nature, we visited many hotels on this planet and across the Austrian Alps, so basically the Berghofhotel can be recommended by our side , but with some reservations. The location directly opposite the station is perfect. The staff are very friendly, but some are lack of emphaty needed in tourism.The older part of the hotel badly needs some outside, partly inside(ski depot) renovation.Our room was new, thnx for the upgrade. We had a big renovated room in the older part. The spa is absolutely new and well equipped, but water is a bit too cold, not as advertised. We missed a variety of dishes at breakfast, so presentation of it is a bit poorish ,also at jause after ski break(lots of leftovers) had a lack of diversity.They arrange almost everything u wish, but still availability is not pronto.The quality of dinners were hot/cold.It can be seen , that the owners are on the run for hotel profitability, as food ingredients were normally not for 4S hotel, nor was charging for tap water to naive guests...We aren't cheapskate, but even thinking about it is outrageous. The location and our room were the greatest pros of the hotel.

From the moment you enter the hotel, you feel welcome. Beautifully decorated, clean, friendly staff, wonderful room with a healing view. Spa with lot to offer, beautiful infinity pool, adults only spa and sauna, delicious and fresh food, great wine list for dinner. amazing yoga classes. We will definitely be back.

Very clean hotel, included all possible amenities. Great view from the room, staff was very friendly and helpful. Great food, dinner was a bit longer then expected, especially with small child.

We really enjoyed our stay. Infinity pool and new sauna is great , we also enjoyed swimming pool and terras. Food quality is excellent ,very good staff. We were very happy that our table was in the more classic part of the dining room is there a way to get rooms facing south? We love to come back Best Luc Truyens

For skiing the best for 15 years I go skiing to Austria. Ideal for family with children. Excellent food, staff. The only I would appreciate better light for reeding in the room - some good table lamp.
