Firstly this review takes the shine from Tara the chef on breakfast duty to whom dished the best breakfast to date at Premier inn. After a long day at work I went into the restaurant I ordered my drink to which arrived, asking if I could place my food order I was advised I had to wait for Charlie! I saw a young person taking food orders from people around me but nothing! I then saw the same person cleaning a large table to seat 6 person so I asked kindly if they could take my food orders, only to be told that they were busy and there were a lot of people that needed food, bear in mind there was at this time no one waiting to be seated and nor was it exceptionally busy hence they were cleaning a table, so I replied so you”d rather clean the table then take my food order from a paying customer and they carried on cleaning the table, so I left in disgust as they do not deserve my money and this individual needs retraining as to address paying customer, because without us you would not have tables to clean!!!! And it’s not like there were not any other clean tables so cannot understand the logic other than being ignorant !!! So from that experience I will not stay at this Premier Inn again, so well done, total disrespect for paying customers. My disgust is with the restaurant and not the hotel itself but you stay at the hotel for the whole package! P.S just to advise the room is extremely hot, even with window open and the fan supplied in the room does nothing other than blow warm air about the room.

When I arrived after a long day at work followed by a two hour drive I was greeted by the wonderful Elizabeth who gave me a big smile and welcomed me like I was one of her family. She was fantastic, very friendly, polite and extremely professional. I have been to a lot of your establishments with my work, and she really stands out. You should train your staff based on what she does. The only thing I would say is as the weather seems to be getting hotter each year for longer the chain should invest in air conditioning as the room was roasting, I know you guys pride yourselves on giving a great nights sleep, but that is very difficult to achieve when the widows don’t open and there is just a fan blowing warm air around the room. TLDR:- Great staff room too hot.

A fabulous location and only a short taxis to Ascot (the reason I chose this hotel). Outdoor seating so lovely to enjoy the warm weather and sit outside. This wasn’t an option at breakfast unfortunately but the evening food service did extend to the outdoor area. Wi-fi a tad weak, I tried watching a film on the iPad but after a few buffering issues I gave up… not a critical need for me so not a problem…. Noting in case helpful to some readers….

Staff were exceptionally helpful to myself and my husband last weekend. We booked for 3 nights, but unfortunately there was a problem with the water supply in the Beefeater next door and it was temporarily closed for 24 hours. The Premier Inn staff understood that it would not be easy for myself and my husband to go out elsewhere to eat as he uses a wheelchair. They were very understanding and put themselves out to find a suitable room at one of the nearby hotels and organise our move across without any hassle. Thank you so much. It made a huge difference to us, and was much appreciated.

A really comfortable stay. Premier Inn always delivers what it says on the tin. Whether I’m travelling for leisure or in transit they are my go to for convenience and consistency. This last stay was in Sandhurst and the cleanliness of the room was noticeably outstanding and really does deserve a shoutout. Thank you Devi, your hard work was noticed.

Premier Inn, Sandhurst, was conveniently located for us for a four night visit to meet up with old friends and colleagues in the Reading area. We have stayed there several times before so we know what to expect. The quality of stay is generally excellent with comfortable and well appointed rooms and friendly staff. The amenities are excellent with a very adequate restaurant, a separate pub and plenty of convenient parking space. It retains some of the original charm of the Rackstraw Farm on which it is based. The breakfast, as with all Premier Inns, is really excellent but the restaurant, run under the Beefeater name, provides a menu which may not be to everyone's taste. The standard Premier Inn rooms, with en suite bathrooms, are on the small side but comfortable, particularly the beds, and provide all that one might require. My only criticism is with the over bath showers in the bathroom which are somewhat hazardous for older visitors.
