"The hotel is very big and it seems they are never full which leads to many rooms not being ventilated. There are (a lot) of cockroaches (we changed rooms twice and they were in both rooms). Bedsheets were also not the cleanest. Breakfast is very basic. It was a one night stop over for us and it was ok for that. All staff were lovely."

"What I liked a lot: Well situated to visit main attractions in Sepilok: Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre/Sunbear centre/Rainforest Discovery Centre (RDC), free shuttle bus to the main attractions (09h-14h-16) which was really great. Also offer tours at reasonable prices e.g. Mangroves & Firefly Cruise (recommended). Free water dispenser. To note: rooms are very basic (there is airco), we had some ants in the room, bathroom is outside. Breakfast was limited and minimal. When we were there internet was not functional, luckily we had taken local simcard before with unlimited data so for us, this was not a big issue. Before coming to the hotel, I had sent a mail to have info about tours they offered, but never received a reply therefore I had booked tours with an agency which in the end was more expensive then when I would have it booked with Paganakan Dii Tropical Retreat. Possible to book tours on the spot (no need to reserve before coming) but I did not know this in advance."

"The deco is absolutely stunning. Pretty, can't deny this. Kids were happy to see the hello kitty theme, small size couch for the kids to sit. Downside is the amenities for this accommodation is poorly maintained. Front door can't close, owner ask us to just lock gate don't close front door or door will not able to be open from inside (?!), balcony look dangerous for children, so many sure not to let any kids go there. Lucky just book the place for a night, else will be worry for safely. Pic included where door required to stay open whole day/night to avoid locked in. Lol."

"The speed unit aircon required service and pillows required replacement too. The Spa is just next door you can request massage in your room and last order is 12.30am 👍 You can has beer🍻 at their bistro bar or at the back of the hotel got few bar too. Very convenient for breakfast, lunch and dinner at nearby shops 👍"

"Very new and clean for this unit. Everything's in tip-top shape. The only downside was that there was no hair dryer ."

"Sandakn inn hotel is the best. Room much nicer and bigger than expected with lovely views. have lift and near city center. Very helpful, Clean rooms and good staff. worth for the money and it cheapest. Recommended."

"We lived in a fresh clean apartment with 3 bedrooms. Each one has air conditioning, as well as in the kitchen-living room. The apartment also has 2 bathrooms. We checked in without any problems, the owner is very responsive. The condominium comes with a parking space. Very convenient. The condominium has its own pool with very comfortable water for children. Ours did not get out of there for 2 hours. Location. 20 minutes by rented car to Sepilok. 50 minutes to Labuk bay. With a rented car, the location is excellent. I don’t know if it would be better to travel in another way."
