The breakfast buffet options were really limited. Eg, theres only 1 type of chicken and they put very little amount each batch. Had to wait another batch once its finish. Its not worth paying rm25-30 per head for the breakfast. I suggest you go by foot to the nearby places or restaurant for better food options.  I pick this place mainly for its swimming pool, but after seeing the water up close, its SO DIRTY! You can see a lot of phlegm, saliva, dust, hairs, some trash inside the water with algae. THERE WERE LOTS OF HAIRS during my visit. I felt disgusted by the water pool, pls save ur kids from going into the disease-ridden pool. The hotel needs to upgrade their pool- water filter system. Please. I tried the full body massage service, cost me about RM78, it was okay-ish. Not much to compliment or complaint, it was very average. And they dont use proper massage bed, they use thin mattress placed on the floor. So you cannot put ur face down, u need to put ur face sideways, which made my neck uncomfortable the whole time.  Otherwise room was okay, they need to clean under the bed, as i notice theres A LOT OF trash under the bedframe. The towel seems to be very old, they need to replace it. Looks very worn out.  During my stay, the water pipe had rust in it. It was very rusty for the whole 1 hour, i had to flush it out before the water become usable. Mind you. Theres a lot of positive things about the place too, but a positive experience should be a given, that a basic standards, so i only point out the things that may ward you off from coming to this place if you're like me.  Im travelling with kids, so I expect more quality service. If im travelling alone, i really don't care with the downsides of this place.

What I liked a lot: Well situated to visit main attractions in Sepilok: Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre/Sunbear centre/Rainforest Discovery Centre (RDC), free shuttle bus to the main attractions (09h-14h-16) which was really great. Also offer tours at reasonable prices e.g. Mangroves & Firefly Cruise (recommended). Free water dispenser. To note: rooms are very basic (there is airco), we had some ants in the room, bathroom is outside. Breakfast was limited and minimal. When we were there internet was not functional, luckily we had taken local simcard before with unlimited data so for us, this was not a big issue. Before coming to the hotel, I had sent a mail to have info about tours they offered, but never received a reply therefore I had booked tours with an agency which in the end was more expensive then when I would have it booked with Paganakan Dii Tropical Retreat. Possible to book tours on the spot (no need to reserve before coming) but I did not know this in advance.

The deco is absolutely stunning. Pretty, can't deny this. Kids were happy to see the hello kitty theme, small size couch for the kids to sit. Downside is the amenities for this accommodation is poorly maintained. Front door can't close, owner ask us to just lock gate don't close front door or door will not able to be open from inside (?!), balcony look dangerous for children, so many sure not to let any kids go there. Lucky just book the place for a night, else will be worry for safely. Pic included where door required to stay open whole day/night to avoid locked in. Lol.

The speed unit aircon required service and pillows required replacement too. The Spa is just next door you can request massage in your room and last order is 12.30am 👍 You can has beer🍻 at their bistro bar or at the back of the hotel got few bar too. Very convenient for breakfast, lunch and dinner at nearby shops 👍

good environment! The air conditioner is frozen enough! Health is acceptable! Staying is annoying! A bit far from the city! Equipment is not! The toilet is not very good! The whole is still possible!

Sandakn inn hotel is the best. Room much nicer and bigger than expected with lovely views. have lift and near city center. Very helpful, Clean rooms and good staff. worth for the money and it cheapest. Recommended.

We lived in a fresh clean apartment with 3 bedrooms. Each one has air conditioning, as well as in the kitchen-living room. The apartment also has 2 bathrooms. We checked in without any problems, the owner is very responsive. The condominium comes with a parking space. Very convenient. The condominium has its own pool with very comfortable water for children. Ours did not get out of there for 2 hours. Location. 20 minutes by rented car to Sepilok. 50 minutes to Labuk bay. With a rented car, the location is excellent. I don’t know if it would be better to travel in another way.

I'm surprised how big and comfy the room is. It's like I'm staying in service appar**ent. Service is great with housekeeping cleaning our room everyday. Downside is the location is very isolated
