The staff is praised for their excellent, friendly service and attentiveness. The resort's isolated location provides privacy, but the chargeable pickup service adds inconvenience for some.

We really enjoyed our time on Cagnipa Island. The accommodation is spartan and a bit dated, but perfectly adequate. Don't expect too much. There are a lot of mosquitoes, so be sure to bring mosquito repellent! The beach and the sea are beautiful. Breakfast and dinner were also good. You have to buy water, so it's advisable to buy it in large canisters beforehand and take it with you to the island. There was electricity and WiFi in the morning and evening, otherwise the electricity was turned off. In the book corner there are numerous books that are freely available. There is also a badminton game and some other games. A kayak can be rented for an additional charge.

A great romantic place for a couple on a tropical island. Secluded and quiet, cool bamboo huts next to the sea and surf, birds, flowers, palm trees, a small house reef. In the spring, tiny newborn turtles crawl out of the sand. There is a small track up the hill behind the hotel. Kayaking (for a fee), ping-pong, small games. Excellent cuisine, but a bit expensive by local standards (keep this in mind, since there is nowhere else to eat, as well as paid water and a paid transfer - 400 pesos one way). For a couple, 3-4 nights will be a good choice. Singles will be bored for more than 2 nights. Have a power bank, since charging is limited by the hour. Communication is only local Wi-Fi, our cellular did not work. Of the minuses - for some reason the hotel does not have an official account in messengers and only answers local calls, does not answer emails. Also an evil (one) guard dog (others are ok) and VERY heavy paddles on the kayaks.

Many thanks to the owner, the hotel staff, captain Jeffrey and his guys, especially Sandra and Andrea for their attention, politeness, accuracy and love for their work and guests. It is a lot of work to organize, monitor, manage, maintain in good condition such a wonderful hotel on the island. In reality, the hotel and its territory are much more interesting than in the photo and in the description. You can go kayaking to the nearest beaches, just swim in clean water, snorkel and see a turtle. A variety of dishes and drinks. The chef cooks fresh, just caught fish well. Bad weather did not prevent us from having a good time. We are already planning to come to this hotel again.

Miracle island, cozy for a quiet holiday, quiet, very beautiful like in a fairy tale. The room in the bungalow is good, spacious enough for two. No hot water. They give three hours to charge phones, the voltage is very low, the phones do not have time to charge. Manager Sandra should smile more, she is very tense with clients. The girls in the cafe and the boat crew delighted us, very kind and responsive people. But overall we liked it, we would come again.

“Sometimes things that did not work out for you, really worked out for you” That’s the perfect description of how I ended up in this beautiful piece of paradise in Port Barton Traveled solo, as I always do, wanted a slow and quiet days by the beach before I head back to the busy Puerto Princesa. Coconut Garden Island Resort is about 45 minutes banca ride from Port Barton. The resort is beautiful as it is, bungalows surrounded by gardens, occasionally monkeys might visit you, but they are not aggressive like the ones I encountered in the Underground River. Nice comfortable bed with mosquito net, western style bathrooms and good water pressure without hot water, electricity is limited, available during evening time in the restaurant/reception area, bring a power bank if you have, internet available via Starlink, the property has it’s own beach, nice place to snorkel and you can occasionally see small Stingrays or Sea Turtles and lots of fish , the beach is a quiet cove during the summer months, where the water is calm, you can rent a Kayak or just lay in the hammocks around. The staff are very helpful and friendly, food delicious, loved the Vegetable Curry and Nasi Goreng, some items may not be available because of how remote the place is, the owners go “shopping” in the mainland for supplies. Thank you for welcoming me in your little paradise, I personally thanked the owners, so happy with my experience. The resort is perfect for families and couples.

Great value on a beautiful island. The bungalows are really great for the price with a balcony, clean bathroom etc. The beach is beautiful with some nice snorkelling. Some of the staff on our first night were rude the second night they were lovely. Food was mediocre if available a lot of things on the menu were not available by ordering time. Beware of the sandflies !!!

This is an idyllic spot to spend a few days at a very cost-effective price. The owner, Henri,is very eccentric but at heart means well. He is supported by an EXCELLENT team- especially Cherry. We enjoyed superbly cooked fish dinners here and a wonderful boat trip island hopping. It’s a place to chill and simply be. They have Wifi for 2 hours a day, no hot water for showers but it was never a problem in truth as it’s so hot anyway. Thank you to all of you.

Friendly owners & staff, delicious food at very reasonable price, comfortable accommodation, restaurant with sea view, good snorkeling and cold beer. What else do you need? We stayed here twice but over 20 years ago so it was great to return and see the well landscaped resort again. Sandy beach and clear water. Easy to contact the resort and arrange boat pick up from Port Barton. We really enjoyed our stay in this delightful, relaxing place.
