Residence Hotel Lu Nibareddu

The area is beautiful and clean. We found the reception service very professional. Only minus for apartments - mouldy and dated, screaming for renovation, like from 80'. No hairdryer... but gas canister under the sink - what made me feel unsafe, especially when with kids. My husband liked that old school "design" though... so depends on the person's preferences.

The place is run down The bathroom is semi broken, semi clean The room is with a sea view but you can’t open the curtain because everyone passes in front of your bedroom The sewage smell is just under the room Frankly by far too expensive for what you get.

Stayed in room 227 overlooking the sea and countryside for 3 nights. Magnificent views. You’ll need your sat nav and once you’ve pulled off the main we recommend you pull into the parking area on the right hand side and pop in to the little shop and pick up provisions, ie teabags, milk and snacks, wine before heading up to the hotel. Plenty of parking. The receptionist was lovely and friendly, I think she was German or Dutch. Very knowledgable and approachable. The beach bar down on the waters edge was excellent if you miss the 8-10am breakfast. Beach facing sofas, great music, friendly waiters. Evening meal we recommend the resort BBQ poolside restaurant. Food is superb. We’re going to try their fish restaurant for lunch. So many nice beaches all within 12 min drive south. Free parking for hotel guests at the local beach which is also lovely.

It was our second visit to this complex. The accommodation is located in the northeast of Sardinia near the town of Monte Petrosu. The location is the perfect base to explore Sardinia. The apartment we stayed in was with a beautiful sea view. Small apartment but sufficient for a family of four. The decor is simple and basic and slightly dated, you can see that the apartments are used a lot. The shower is not very big, but we got by just fine. The beds are also not very big. I myself am 1.90 cm and stuck my legs outside the bed, not that I slept less, the beds are otherwise fine, but something to take into account. Furthermore, the accommodation is located on a hill with differences in height, which can be difficult for people with walking difficulties. The complex has two swimming pools that you can use from 08:00 in the morning until 20:00 in the evening. The pool is clean and well maintained. The nearby restaurants BBQ pizzaria and Strandtent La tavarnetta are also great places to eat and drink. La tavarnetta in particular was a favorite of ours. Sit on the beach with delicious cocktails or a cup of coffee. In short Lu nibareddu is a great place to stay if you don't attach too much value to luxury, when asked if we would return again, we say yes. The staff is friendly, the location is just perfect, close to the beach and various towns and entertainment, the only thing is that on a next visit we will choose an apartment that is slightly larger (6 people)

Family stay for 5 nights next to the beach. We had high expectations due to recommendations and the price. The apartment was big and close to sea but in need for renovation so the value for money was low. Overpriced and far from town and restaurants. Beach bar and restaurants also overpriced. Only good thing was the nice beach.
