"I stayed in a ”city view” room during my solo trip through the Basque region and it was such a comfortable room I forgot about not having sea view.
Though I do recommend to go to the cafe to have the beachside experience if you get the city view room because it overlooks a construction site on the back street.
The hotel was an easy 15min walk with my heavy suitcase from the intercity bus center, just beside the beach. The room was squeaky clean with a large bathtub, and the bed so comfortable I could not get up to go see the sunset! Also helpful kind staff and great location for getting around the city on foot or by bus. I went to the Chillida Leku museum it was 30min by bus no25.
Highly recommend!"
"I booked this hotel because it was in a quiet location , the room had double glazed windows that allowed me to sleep soundly for more than 8 hours each night and I could reach the city easily by taking the bus.
FYI the taxi fares from and to the San Sebastian airport was 90€ in total, which the hotel has no say on or any other hotels for that matter."
"The hotel is located in an unbeatable location, on top of Monte Igueldo, with views of the Bahía de la Concha and the entire city of Donosti. The rooms are fully equipped, with views of the sea and the city, the lobby is very careful and stylish and the service, in addition to being friendly, is very attentive. Dinners and lunches both in the restaurant and in the cafeteria with the incredible views of San Sebastián are unique.
It has been a great success."
"The service was very friendly and the location was very convenient, right in front of the bus stop. I had some trouble with the room facilities, but the service afterwards was excellent and I would like to stay here again."
"This is a lovely hotel with very high standards. I would have rated it excellent, but one lady at reception, I don’t know her name, she’s young, tall and wears glasses, she was not at all friendly or helpful on various occasions we spoke with her. The rest of staff we met were very nice."
"It's a 15 minute walk from Kikutetsu station and bus terminal, and a 5 minute walk from the city center private railway station. There is a large supermarket nearby. There are many restaurants nearby, including one that serves Basque-style Japanese cuisine (the owner chef is Japanese).
The hotel is stylish and clean. The only drawback is that the elevator doesn't come easily. Internet speed is ok."
"A very new & clean hotel.
Need to take a bus ride to old town via bus or cab.
Journey is abt 15-20mins.
Breakfast at the hotel was decent.
Bed was comfy but not the sofa bed, which can feel the metal frame when my kid sleep on it.
Relatively value for $ if don’t mind the bus journey. No amenities around the hotel.
Good for people who drives as there is free parking available."
"The bus terminal is a 10-minute walk away. There is a street restaurant downstairs and the famous Basque cake is nearby. Free bottled water is provided, the hair dryer is powerful, and the bedding and towels are soft and comfortable."
"Wonderful experience, PERFECT location, EXCELLENT facilities although I would highlight without hesitation the UNBEATABLE attention of the staff, especially ALEX, a guy from Seville who makes entering the hotel like coming home, he makes everything easy, beautiful and very nice, THANK YOU"

BbaraoGuild**”BAD: Beware of the 'Upgrade'”**
Our priority when booking was the room size and budget, so we reserved a 32m² City View room.
At check-in, the hotel staff offered us an ”upgrade.” He said that for an additional €25 per day, we could ”upgrade,” so we agreed.
However, while the room did have a Sea View, the size was downgraded to just 21m². I told them that paying €25 to have a smaller room was a downgrade, but they insisted that the view had been upgraded.
I asked to be moved back to the room we originally booked, but the staff ignored my request for an entire day.
Let me ask you this: if you went to see a new landscape, and the view changed, how would you describe it? You wouldn’t say the landscape itself was ”upgraded,” would you? You’d say the view was different or better.
The following day, I finally got a response from the staff. They told me I’d need to pay an additional €70 per day if I wanted a 32m² Sea View room.
While the hotel facilities and scenery are excellent, the staff are focused entirely on business and seem to aim to squeeze every extra euro from their guests.
In the end, we ended up paying the €25.

Great
GGuest UserHotel location is very good, just a few minutes walk from the beach, the balcony can see the sea environment is very good, colleagues accidentally left the bag in the hotel safe, the hotel staff helped to find but did not provide courier service. . . . Need to be improved
MMary070Everything at the hotel is fine ! Beginning with recepshen! Very pleasant smiling staff ! Comfortable bed ! Small room , more suitable for one person or without large luggage in two . In the lobby there is always water with lemon ! Breakfast is delicious and saturated ! For me the most !!!
MMonkmonkSuper great hotel with amazing views!
Spacious room, comfortable mattress and convenient location!
Thank you for the friendly staffs😊
I will choose it again if I come to San Sebastián again!
GGuest UserThe hotel is located about 15-20 min walk to the center of San Sebastian. Staff are kind and extremely helpful. Cleanliness was good. Restaurant was surprisingly very good in the lobby. stayed there for 5nights and 6 days was well worth it. The price was quite expensive for what i paid but it was during the film festival so was well worth it. would certainly stay here on my way back to San Sebastian
Wonderful knowledgeable staff who are genuinely helpful
GGuest UserIf you are looking for a place to sleep and an excellent location for a cheaper price than the surrounding hotels, this is a great option! However, I had not stayed in a pension before and I didn’t realize that we would be sharing a bathroom with 5-6 other people.
The workers were polite, professional and accommodating! They provided coffee, tea and water.

LlauraaaaaaAppreciated the free parking and beautiful views of the city below. The hotel is also conveniently located near the bus stop. Our hotel room was pretty clean but I would describe the room amenities as basic. The pillows were too soft - presumably due to the lack of pillow filling. The motion sensor lights in the toilet also turned off every 5 mins which was a bit annoying sometimes. For the price paid, I still think our stay was worth it.
GGuest User4 minutes from the beach.
Huge terrace, small but comfortable room (there are also larger ones)
Only the breakfast in the café downstairs is not recommended. In addition, the cushions on the terrace could be cleaner (they are completely exposed to the rain).
The location is phenomenal, the staff extremely friendly
AAlbertExcellent. The complex is part of the luxury Arima Hotel, and although the entrance is through another entrance at the back, you can use its services, such as the restaurant, which is very good. The rooms were very new, well-equipped, and very comfortable. Free street parking is available.
