A bit far from the city centre, but still within walking distance (~20 mins). Very dorm -like accommodation, but has pretty much everything you need. Good breakfast buffet with a chef making eggs and bacon to your liking. During weekends the parking right in front of the hotel is free. As mentioned, it's not centrally located and coming back from the old town at night time we found out it was impossible to get a taxi. But if you don't mind a bit of a walk then it's fine. Our room was one towel short and we had to ask for it from the reception. Not a major issue though. The hotel seems to be converted from a campus/dorm, so it's not particularly charming and for that type of hotel it's quite pricey. But all the hotels in San Sebastian seem to be super expensive, so keeping that in mind Olarain was reasonable.

The place is very clean. The hotel still functions as a dormitory. The staff are nice. Walking distance to the beach and about 25 to 30 minutes to downtown. The breakfast options have different prices so make sure to understand what you are buying.

Positives first! The rooms are clean and ours was spacious. Was also only a ten min walk to the beach which is beautiful. But there is no AC. This will be a massive issue if hot weather I would genuinely not therefore stay here in the height of summer. The hotel itself I think is a sports tournament hotel for kids? Hundreds there. Felt like I was in summer camp. Problematic at breakfast and at night they’re shouting out their rooms at each other..:if you’re just crashing for a few nights and will barely be here it’s ok but to be honest expect difficult sleep due to the kids and AC issue and breakfasts get there early or battle with 100 teenagers 👍🏻👍🏻

Really low standard for the price we paid. Very simple. Not hotel standard. No air conditioner or any other way to cool down the room. Far from the senter, but near the beach. The room was clean.

We were very surprised by the place. The entrance gives us the feeling of entering another world like the corridors. You could believe it in a museum… The place is calm and the staff friendly as a whole. The room was comfortable and spacious. We did not use the services offered … I would say adding a trash can in the rooms would be a plus. In times of epidemic it would be interesting for you to have a list of places to do a PCR or antigen test... but hey, it's even the tourist office that should put it on its site. Very complicated to find it on San Sebastien and on everything when you arrive on Friday for a Monday departure. The Guipuzkoa clinic is top you just have to take the bus and fast. In Switzerland we are given one nostril and here the two direct ones. Don't be surprised 😉 In terms of price, I think we have to lower it from 5 to 10€ per night. Your location and cleanliness is a big plus

Personnel très gentil parlant français et anglais. L’établissement était bien situé il y a pas mal de bus à côté qui vous dépose en ville et à la gare routière directement ce qui a facilité nos déplacements. Se trouve à 10mn à pied de la plage. Se trouve à 10mn du funiculaire. La literie était très bien on a bien dormi dans un king size. J’avais demandé un lit d appoint pour ma fille de 6ans elle a eu un vrai lit d’une personne très confortable et c’était gratuit. La douche tait propre. Dispose d’un mini frigo très pratique. Il y a un coffre fort et une armoire. Nous n’avons pas tester le petit déjeuné c’est 13€ le buffet, 5€ le déjeuné continental ( 3 truc café , 1 viennoiserie et un jus) Il y a un parking devant l hôtel et un peu en bas. C’est 4€ de la journée.
