The Barcelo Costa Vasca is an urban hotel in San Sebastian 550 m from Ondarreta beach and the famous Peine del Viento sculpture by Eduardo Chillida. Clean, comfortable and close to the old town and beach. Strange swimming pool set up with sun loungers not looking onto the pool.

The hotel is not on the beach, just a few hundred meters away from Shell Bay, but it has to go uphill. There are no restaurants nearby. There are bicycles at the door for riding. The rooms are okay. One of our rooms had a peculiar smell, but the others did not.

Everything was very good except breakfast, they told us that they were closing at 11 and at 10:30 they were removing everything, and we couldn't have breakfast to our hearts' content.

Excellent hotel. Excellent service and excellent breakfast. A great option in San Sebastián, a short walk from La Concha beach or the Miramar Palace.
