After checking in, I found that the room had a strong musty smell. I turned on the air conditioner and found that there was no response. When I went to the counter to report that there was no air conditioner, I was told that I had to set strong wind + minimum temperature to have air conditioning. I went back to the room and followed the instructions of the counter staff, but there was still no air conditioner (machine) Not working at all). After waiting for an hour, there was still no air conditioning, so I reported it to the counter again; the counter staff still said that the air conditioning was running, and that the air conditioning must be set to strong wind + minimum temperature. The service is very good! The front desk was very considerate. The hotel was clean beyond expectations and had all the facilities. The only small problem is that the sound insulation is not very good, so it is recommended to bring earplugs.

Hôtel proche du métro et des bus beaucoup de commerces et restaurants à proximité
Il est un peu loin du centre de Madrid mais pour ma visite il est à mi chemin donc un bon compromis
Attention avec les transports publics car il fait partie d'une autre zone et pour l'aéroport +3eur de plus si vous n'avez pas le bon abonnement

I agonized up to the last week before my convention pondering whether I book this hotel or my previous hotel in Barajas which is a short Metro ride to the Ifema Convention Center, or the lively and vibrant Sol located hotel. I decided to give this a try and I really was happy with my decision. The staff were great and very accommodating despite my limited Spanish (they speak English though). The place is quaint but very tidy. My room was above average the typical European size with a chiller. I would have given it an excellent rating had there been a coffee maker in my room. Breakfast was filling with good variety of choices. Outside the hotel there were 2 large supermarkets, lots of restaurants including a ramen shop, and a large outlet shopping center all within 5-20 minutes' walk radius. The commute to the Convention Center was tricky but I got the hang of it after 1 day of travel. Remember this hotel is outside the zone A so you need to get the special T ticket from the Metro, which incidentally is just a 5-minute walk away. It's an hour's trip but I just left my hotel earlier and never came late for the sessions. Overall, I was very satisfied with my 6 days stay. More than satisfied I may say!

I booked one night to visit Madrid with my family. After being out all day, we arrived at the room to rest. It was colder there than outside because the heating system blew out cold air instead of hot. I go to the reception to notify him and in a very bad manner, the receptionist ALEX tells me that he can give me blankets to wrap myself up, that there is no other solution and that he is also cold. After two hours of continuous disrespect and disrespectful attitude from this untrained and uneducated worker, he brings us a blanket for the three of us and a small heater. An hour later (after 11 at night), he agrees to give us a double room, in which the heating does not work either and in which we have a bed for the three of us. An experience that I do not recommend to anyone. The next day I spoke with Beatriz, who I deduce is the head of the receptionists and who has more education and kindness than the other person. He apologizes and that concludes our trip that was intended to be for pleasure.
