We stayed at the Miramare for a few nights in June 24. It was a last minute trip and we were very pleased by our hotel choice. The building looks very impressive and the garden / pool area are very clean and nicely decorated. Everything matches the vibe and feels very stylish. We loved the breakfast, especially the possibility to sit outside and enjoy the view with your coffee. Valbona and her breakfast team are true gems and manage even the most stressful situations with grace, patience and stay very friendly. The valet parking is very convenient and we never had issues to get the barrier to open. Just klick on the button and they open it. What we especially liked was the location, you have direct access to the beach promenade but are also very close to restaurants and shops, as well as the ******. We loved to go for a walk and just enjoy the city or beach. All the staff we‘re always very friendly and helpful for all of our inquiries. Overall I can absolutely recommend this Hotel. The only critique i would have is the cocktail prices of the bar, but we just went outside to get some drinks, so no issue for us.

I booked a romantic weekend at the Miramare luxury hotel to spend quality time with my husband, and I hoped everything would be perfect. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by an incident at the hotel pool that revealed serious shortcomings in the hotel's management and staff professionalism. Everything was fine until a man, his wife, and their child began jumping into the pool from the edge right next to us, repeatedly splashing water everywhere. The pool rules clearly state no jumping. I asked a pool staff member to explain the rules to the family, which he did. However, as soon as he walked away, they started jumping again. I politely asked them to stop, but the man responded with personal attacks and hate speech based on my nationality. What shocked me even more was the hotel's response. Despite hearing this man yelling the most offensive words at me, the staff did nothing. Over the next hour, various hotel employees came by, consulted with each other, but ultimately did nothing to address the situation. The rude family remained by the pool, and we were left with no choice but to leave. The staff's only response was to talk to me (not to him) and tell me there was nothing they could do. I understand that problematic guests can happen anywhere, but the hotel's handling of this situation, which unfolded right before their eyes, demonstrates a lack of professionalism in conflict resolution. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had a great time. Vanessa was amazing and really looked after us. The breakfast team ditto. Pool staff lovely and my wife enjoyed Woga in pool. Bar staff a pleasure. Mary took such great care of us to celebrate our anniversary. Just need to lower hanging rails in bedrooms.

Please note: I originally posted this review in June 2023. At the end I mention that I wrote to the Manager but had not had a reply. The manager did finally reply 2 months later. He had a lot of excuses as to why we had such a terrible experience. He then offered me a payment on the condition I take down my review. I think this speaks volumes as to why this is not a 5 star hotel. I also note that on their website they now indicate that there is a DJ every evening. At least they warn you that there is a loud thumping club-like atmosphere. Caveat emptor! My husband and I checked in on Saturday 10 June in the afternoon. We had a long and tiring drive and were looking forward to relaxing by the pool on a warm and not too hot afternoon. We were greeted by Lorenzo and taken to our room 105 where our luggage arrived very quickly. The room was clean and spacious and the balcony had a lovely view over the garden and sea. So far so good. We went down to the pool and my husband went for a walk. I was shown to a very comfortable sun bed with umbrella. I laid back and closed my eyes but the thump thump thump of the Ibiza-style club music with heavy bass and screaming intervals from a ‘singer’ made it impossible to sleep. I ordered a snack which was very nice but there is nowhere close to the bed to put the food, only at the end on a table. No place to set a drink next to you when you are stretched out because of the umbrella. My husband returned and said, ‘What is this horrible noise?’. It was the continuous thump thump thump which makes relaxing impossible. We finally left the sun beds and went to the room, took a shower and headed out to a fantastic dinner at Paolo e Barbara. We asked at the front desk when the ‘music’ would finish. We were told 2am when the DJ finished. At that point we hoped that closing the doors to the room would make it impossible to hear the music. We returned around 11. The ‘music’ was still going, very loud. Sadly the balcony doors only muffled the sound but the heavy bass made it seem like the drums were in the room. No earplugs could deal with the vibrations. Around 2 the music finally stopped and we were able to sleep. At 6:23 on Sunday morning we were awakened by an unbelievable sound. The club music had started up again at full volume! At first I could not believe it. I called the front desk and the man who answered said ‘It must be a car with its music on’. I replied that it was clearly the music system from the bar and could he please investigate. After about 10 minutes the music stopped but by that time we were both awake and could not go back to sleep. We are now exhausted. We had breakfast and departed for an invitational golf tournament at Circolo Golf degli Ulivi Sanremo. Before we left we spoke with Lucia at the front desk to complain about the early morning noise. She said it was a ‘mistake’ that the music was on a timer and it would not happen again. We were so tired, we both played terribly and just w

Simply a luxurious hotel, beautiful service. attention to detail and wonderful breakfast. Immaculately clean and modern with decor. The staff were exceptionally attentive , helpful with places to visit and restaurants. Simona a waitress at the hotel who was kind caring and deserves a special thank you for her contribution to our holiday. We would love to return at some point with the rest of our family as Sanremo is a great town to visit.

She said it was a ‘mistake’ that the music was on a timer and it would not happen again. We were so tired, we both played terribly and just wanted to take a nap. We returned to the hotel at 7pm. Of course, the music was blaring away. We stopped again at the front desk and spoke with Vanessa. We explained that we have stayed in many 5 star hotels and that we have NEVER had to deal with this kind of disrespectful music. She said she would ask if it could be turned down some. We very strongly suggested that this was not the kind of experience advertised on the website ‘Our 50 rooms, all expertly renovated, are made to be lived in large spaces and with rich equipment, so tha

This hotel is exquisite. It’s minimalist style is breathtaking, the breakfast dining room is adorned in white murano glass sconces and chandeliers. It’s so relaxing. The breakfast buffet is gorgeous in its presentation and everything was delicious, there’s nothing lacking. The rooms are very clean and nice and there’s ample drawer and closet space. The bathrooms are heavenly and the soaps are super luxurious. It was our 4th visit to San Remo and we enjoyed every minute! The hotel has bicycles available and this is a FABULOUS amenity. We also spent the day at the hotel’s beach which was sooo convenient and delightful. I can’t rave enough about how warm and accommodating Elizabetta was to us. She made sure our stay was 100%perfect! ❣️

I just want to thank everyone at miramare for the most incredible trip. As soon as we reached San remo from nice we were treated with the best service the whole stay. Although the rooms were small and there was no restaurants in the hotel, the staff made it up by being incredibly kind and wonderful to be around. They helped plan every minute of our trip; where to visit what to eat there and everything we could do. Our trip wouldn’t have been the same without them. Elizabeth ,who still checks on us weeks after we left the hotel, always planned with us in the morning and even helped us book our next hotel. She was the sweetest and made sure our stay was perfect. We couldn’t thank her enough. Venessa the manager, assisted in us in every way we needed and was also helped us so much. The breakfast staff were also incredibly kind and made the food perfect. We will look forward to coming again! Thank you so much for everything! - Al jallaf family

This hotel has been a disaster from the moment we tried pulling into the lot and couldn’t even get them to open the gate (which happened several tunes during the stay). The service at breakfast is non-existent; have ordered coffees four times five times before they finally were served (staff brings orders to random tables and asks if it is theirs.) Room keys seem to « expire » every day - we have been unable to enter our room at least once a day and had to go back to the lobby to wait for someone to be available to reset them. Just had to have staff let us in w their pass key as they have tried to reset our keys three times today and they still don’t work. So tomorrow after breakfast we will again have to have staff let us into our room. Seriously a dreadful experience all around. So much more - but I won’t waste any more of my time.
