What I did NOT like is that until you have made the reservation it does not say anywhere that if you are going to arrive later than 9pm you have to call the accommodation. What I DID like is that the guy came to greet us at 9.30pm to give us the door code and charge us the tourist tax. He also took a photo of our documentation... The hotel is right in the centre, which is an advantage. The worst thing is the parking in the area, it is practically necessary to use a car park even at night, outside of regulated parking hours.

The guesthouse is located in the heart of Sanremo, a stone's throw from the pedestrian streets and the Ariston Theater. It is on the 4th floor of a building with a lift, in the attic. The first impression is not the best because at the entrance to the guesthouse there are traces of unfinished renovation work (electrical wires and exposed rubble). The room assigned to us was small but functional, thankfully equipped with air conditioning. Fairly clean, if they would freshen up the walls the room would definitely go up a level, at the moment there are stains and dirt on the walls and it's not the best. Very thin walls, if the neighbors talk, slam the closet doors or the door, or take a shower, it seems like they are in the room. At night I could hear the neighbor snoring (sic). I would return to the property only for the excellent location and the honest price.

It was impossible to get through to the owner and negotiate anything. The website said that you could pay in cash and that check-in ended at 9:00 PM. We planned to arrive at 2:40 PM, but we only got on a later train, so we arrived at around 7:00 PM. We waited 20 minutes for someone to approach us, and in the end we were told that our reservation had been cancelled and sold to other people. They condescendingly offered to spend the night in a room that looked like a birdhouse. We were too tired to argue. Two days on the road and not being able to unpack our suitcases when we arrived - that's awful! We were given no help in finding another accommodation option. In the end, we found another hotel ourselves: for the same price, 200 m from the center and about the same from the beach with a spacious room with a refrigerator, air conditioning and a spacious bathroom. So, if you don't count the stress I experienced, I'm even glad that this hotel sold our reservation. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Tutto quello che ti può servire a un prezzo imbattibile. A 30 metri dal teatro Ariston e dal centro città. Camera essenziale e pulita. Parcheggi per l’auto vicini, parcheggi la macchina e te la dimentichi visto che sei in piena zona pedonale
