Was in SanRemo for 4+weeks and went into the hotel to check things out. The hotel has a few flags outside and I noted the British Flag was being flown upside down. This is a common mistake for those not familiar with the way it should be. I asked at the beginning of my trip to have it corrected. Was assured it would be done. Well, after 3 more requests over the time I was there it remained unchanged. The point of this review is if a simple thing like this cannot be addressed properly, what if I have a more serious concern with the room or the service provided? I’m sure the Italian flag would not be flown backwards with the red of the tri-colour next to the flagpole. Fix it!

We've just returned from our second trip of the year to this great centrally located hotel. It's clean and spacious rooms are fantastic. Dogs are also welcome. The big plus is the car park in this busy city. Many thanks for another excellent stay.

Bad experience! Upon check -in, and while we were tired and thirsty from our trip we asked the person at the reception ( later it turned out to be the hotel owner!) if there is complementary water in the room and he said no. I decided to leave my luggage in the room and walked quickly to a nearby super market to buy water. When I entered the hotel's lobby the hotel owner saw me carrying the water and he said to me that it's not permitted to carry water which I bought from outside since he also sells water in the hotel. I have stayed in several hotels throughout Europe, it was the first time in my life to hear something like this! Let alone what he told me was 100% illegal, it was also utterly inconsiderate and unprofessional as I had just checked in with my family a few minutes before!! We literally argued about that and that made feel sad and frustrated. Apparently, he didn't care at all about the impression that would make on his new guests. To make matters worse, when I went to my room I saw in the fridge two small water bottles ( 500 ml each) My wife kept on telling me that they must be complementary but judging by what I dealt with at the reception I was looking at her in disbelief. She decided to call at the reception to ask. She was told that the cost is 4.5 euros for each. You can imagine how much money a three member family would have to spend for water daily in this hotel in the middle of the summer!? In conclusion, I would never go again or recommend this hotel to anyone as the management has come up with illegal and sly ways of making money.

The room was renovated and quite ok. But everything else was…well not so good…. There were several staff members working in the lobby, two of whom (possibly brothers) were quite rude. I booked the hotel through their website, and it was supposed to include breakfast, but then the email confirmation had a separate charge for breakfast. I didn’t notice this until I was checking out. I even had a screenshot of the reservation, but it didn’t matter, and I had to pay for breakfast separately. Additionally, the phone in the room was broken when we arrived, but the hotel claimed that we broke it, which we definitely didn’t. The service was rude, except for one person working at the front desk, the cleaner, and the breakfast server. They were nice. I won't be going back to this hotel. I traveled alone with two children, so perhaps it was easier to be rude to a woman. I have seen many hotels, but the service at this one was the worst. The breakfast was very basic: croisants, some cakes, ham, cheese, yoghurt, muesli, jam…

We stayed in a junior suite which is located in a building adjacent to the main hotel. The +s were a large room with seating area and good sized bathroom with walk in shower. The room felt clean and the bed was comfortable. Minus mainly location as our room overlooked a busy road which is part of a main square on the edge of the pedestrian zone. The curtains were poor quality and we could not get the blinds to work so it was light early. If we stayed again we would book a room in the main hotel and not overlooking the square. Only interaction was with staff reception who were fine.

I booked a suite a month and a half in advance, after a month I called to pay the room deposit and they told me that they didn't have my reservation and that my room was now occupied, they offered me another room for 150 m from the hotel but without services, they are not serious.

There is no reception point. The reception consists of a small room where in one corner there are two armchairs and a sofa. Breakfast was paid separately at €10 each. We preferred to do it at the bar. The quadruple room with the beds open did not give the possibility of moving (the beds were all attached). Refrigerator not working. The only window had a view of a wall of the neighboring building a few meters away. Nothing else can be seen. We stayed for three nights, there were two days of rain and not having even an umbrella we asked for a courtesy umbrella to go out: they didn't have any umbrellas available and we had to stay in the room. We asked for two sheets for the children to draw and were told that they don't sell sheets. Negative experience.
