Lands in Love Hotel and Resort

Lands in Love / Animal Love is a true beautiful sanctuary!!! If you love animals, the rainforest, fresh healthy food, and a meaningful experience, you must come here!!! The owners are 16 friends who have dedicated their lives to taking care of the over 1000 animals here, cats, dogs, birds, horses, goats, sheep, and more! They don’t turn any away, and instead provide the care necessary to save all the animals even if it costs them a fortune. I was so moved by their dedication! You can also volunteer here and stay for free for two weeks. We are so grateful for this stay. It was so special to wake up every morning to a gorgeous view of lush rainforest, then go eat a yummy breakfast, and embark on our adventure for the day! Highly recommend the tours (we did canopy tour, ATV, and canyoning) and make sure you visit all the cute animals and show them love!!! Truly a special place!

Lior Esh from ‘Lands in love’ planned our 3 weeks trip to Casta Rica . We had a great time and she accompanied us through the whole trip. The final point in our journey was’Lands in love’ . Lands in Love: Vegan Eco-Resort in Costa Rican Rainforest Location: Lands in Love is situated in the Costa Rican cloud forest, offering stunning mountain and rainforest views. They have a vast property set in a valley which I loved exploring. Rooms: The rooms are very beautifully decorated and have all basic amenities including a coffee machine. The bed linen, wall art - everything is very aesthetic. They do lack an AC, which might be an issue for some during humid nights because you cannot open the windows as that will invite the bugs and insects inside your room. But they have fans and Costa Rica weather was generally cool and airy during our stay. Food: The resort offers a variety of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options alongside local cuisine. Everything is made fresh on-site, with a menu including mock meats, pizzas, and traditional dishes. The restaurant is open to the public. Activities: Lands in Love has an adventure center with ziplining, rappelling, ATV rides, and hiking trails. They also have a large forest area within the resort as well as a pond for birdwatching. I spotted many birds right from the outside of my room. Unique Feature: The resort runs a no-kill animal rescue center for over 1700 animals. Guests can expect some noise from barking dogs but can also volunteer to walk dogs or feed horses which I enjoyed doing. Overall: Lands in Love is a great choice for eco-tourists and animal lovers who love to stay in serene surroundings and prefer vegan cuisine.

We are about to leave the place after spending two nights at Lands in Love. It was my son's 6th birthday and he wanted to celebrate by experiencing some great adventures. It was wonderful from the beginning to the end. The tour guides are incredible people willing to make their best for the guests and the tours are amazing. Lands in love has one mission; to support animals, so every little cent counts. There are many different ways to support this animal center; you can do it by donating, buying souvenirs, and the fact of just staying here. They have over 600 hundred dogs and over 400 cats and all of them are well taken care of, so you know the money you give will not be a waste. The food is the best vegan food you would ever try, if I can make sure that whatever I cook comes out of my kitchen just as good as it comes out of their kitchen, I would go vegan immediately. The food is medicine for the soul; they know how to do it right. Thank you for the stay and good luck in the future.

Great experience at Lands in Love! The rooms, amenities, activities, food, and staff were all amazing! I highly recommend the zipline and canyoning tours! Amazing to see how they are helping so many animals with so much care. They are definitely helping the community so much!

The grounds are very well kept. The food was delicious! The service was personal and very welcoming. The atmosphere is so relaxing.. Be sure to pet the cat. Totally adorable. We had lunch here while we were in between tours. They made us feel very welcome.

We stayed there for 3 days. Had the best time crew was very nice and hospitable. Nama the chef explained and described how vegan food is prepared and made it so delicious. They are so dedicated to animal sheltering which are brought from all over the country to their place. Dogs, cats, horses, goats ducks rabbits and many more.. Adventurous activities were exciting zipline snappling ATV Tarzan ..

We had the best experience im Land in Love From the food to the advanture (zipline, trails etc..), All was amazing. If you are a vegan prepare yourself to a gourmet experience that you might not ever have again. Naamma is amazing with her creativity and the results are delicious. Cannot say enough about how wonderful my 82nd birthday trip was to this special place in March. My daughter and I spent a week dining on the best! vegan food, booking excursions through the hotel, walking dogs at the animal sanctuary and enjoying a room that had the artistic elements found throughout the hotel. Fluffy towels, tons of hot water and a visiting kitty. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The hotel is spacious and comfortable. What you see online is not what you always get. But everything exceeded my expectations. Took a tour of the animal sanctuary and after 50 years in animal rescue believe it is the Rolls Royce of sanctuaries.
