Mi Casa en Cozumel

This was a wonderful place to stay in Cozumel! The layout and decor of the space is beautiful and unique, with several lovely spaces for sitting and lounging, and artwork throughout. Plus, lots of plants that added to the beauty and helped to create a sense of privacy even with the downtown location. My room had everything I needed, with good AC, a minifridge, and a lovely private porch with a hammock. I also appreciated the delicious, freshly cooked breakfast in the morning. Plus, it's a great location. It was just a couple blocks from my dive shop, which was super convenient. It's easy to walk to shops, restaurants, even the grocery store, while also being *just* a couple blocks away from the super touristy cruise ship areas, which I appreciated. A couple things to note: There are stairs--one flight to get to the main entrance, and some rooms (like mine) require another flight. This was not a problem for me, just something to know if stairs pose a challenge for you. Also, you can hear some noise from the street--this is pretty unavoidable if you are staying downtown, though, and I think the owners have done a good job mitigating this as much as they can with the layout and the use of plants throughout.

Great hotel, very personalized experience. Ideal location, you can walk to everything in the center of Cozumel. Clean rooms, good amenities. Good breakfast included and the owner takes particularly good care of the guests, very knowledgeable about the history and activities in Cozumel. This hotel is beautifully designed with a lot of unique features including open air hallways/sitting areas. Loved our small deck with hammock and trees. Good location and great price. Although we didnt need it, appreciated the AC in rooms.

The bed was comfortable and spacious, and the shower was great. The staff, especially the cleaning lady, were very friendly and helpful. However, there was an incident where a cake was spoiled, which was disappointing. It would be nice to have the option to make coffee or hot water in the room for added convenience.

I was in Cozumel for a dive trip over Spring Break and stayed at Mi Casa. The place is elegantly simple… It’s centrally located and isn’t more than a 10 minute walk to most, if not all, dive shops. The fact that it’s not right downtown means that it’s also fairly quiet there at nights which I appreciated after a long day of diving. The prices are very reasonable and the breakfast in the morning is really good. The only thing is that because it’s small scale, you have to be communicative as to what time you are planning to arrive since there’s no actual front desk here and if you come at a time they’re not expecting, the staff might not be there. I didn’t have to wait too long though. Overall, I really loved my time here and WILL absolutely come back and stay here the next time I’m in Cozumel

Great central location, we were able to walk everywhere and felt safe. I love the layout of Mi Casa and the room (Sandia) was very comfortable, breezy and clean. Irma made a nice breakfast and every morning there was something different. Our room had a/c, ceiling fan, mini fridge, a safe and Netflix.
