It's a NO go! They advertise with beautiful rooms, but they'll stack you in a dump cellar, moist and dark with no escape in case of an energency. You can get a better room if you pay more. The roof terrace and jaccuzzi is only for the expensive rooms. No warm water: and if you call the manager to fix, the manager gets angry. They are NOT 24/7 available: in case of loosing your key: you're locked out sll night. The manager is very(!) agressive: threatenes you if you ask your money back - I had to get the police to get my refund - the mom of the manager tried to pay less than paid but the police assisted to settle. Don't go: you'll get ripped off - as soon you paid, they'll turn their back on you. Waste of money.

Do not be fooled by the photos on the internet. This hotel is dirty, dingy, and depressing. Our room had a kitchen but no glasses, cups, or cutlery. The bathroom was dark and damp. The rooftop bar hadn't been used in a long time and was dusty and filthy...and the pool! More like a small hot tub! We checked out after one night and did NOT get our money back. AVOID this hotel!

We were thrilled to visit San Miguel De Allende but were not sure what to expect from the hotel. We booked the hotel close to the Dia De Los Muertos festivities and did not have many options to choose from within our budget. The building itself is very charming and goes along with the town. When we arrived we were greeted very nicely by two women. They even helped us with our luggage and showed us around. We did enjoy the complimentary cocktail that is delicious on the rooftop. We decided to order a second round with an extra shot of tequila and we were charged more then double for drinks by the young man behind the bar. $32 USD to be exact. We expect those prices for two heavy drinks in the US or in a high end bar but not this place. What we did not expect was our room to be located outside of the main hotel. We had to exit the main hotel and walk around the outside of the building to get to our room. Because of that we did not get to enjoy the rooftop bar and jacuzzi located in the main hotel. Our room was super small and so was the bathroom. We requested a room with a balcony which we received but it had a very small balcony. The balcony is a large French door but there is no room to sit out if you’d wanted to. There isn’t a coffee maker in the room and the coffee station they had downstairs was never stocked completely. So you’d either have coffee but no water, etc. It was also instant coffee which tasted horrible. There is a very nice cafe not far from there that opens at 8:30am called Inside Cafe. Which was nice. Tho I’m an early riser and would have loved a cup of coffee at 7am. The faucet knobs in our bathroom kept coming loose and made taking a shower a hassle. Now let’s talk about the noise. Because there’s a-lot of it. The hotel is located on a busy street and in-front of a church. The church bells start ringing about 6am and go on through out the morning every half hour it seems like. There’s also a work out class or Zumba class that goes on every morning next door and you can hear it all. I asked the office if they could switch our rooms but I never received a call back regarding if they could. I complained about the coffee station and the young man working there stated he had no idea where they kept the supplies. I found that weird. So I had asked if I could order two coffees and he stated he’d get back with me on it and never did. He was the same guy from the rooftop bar. Getting a hold of the office was difficult. Apparently they offer room service but I could never get through to order. I was able to get through on our last day to inquire about laundry services only to be told they did not provide any but they would get back to me with a place I could take my laundry to. But guess what I never got a call back. It is centrally located so it made getting around easy. We did find an awesome burrito shop next door called Mama Mela so that was a plus. And the food vendors out front were convenient for a quick loc

Great location, walking distance to everywhere. Rooms were lovely and comfortable, roof top views were amazing, bar and jacuzzi. Staff were very helpful and polite Downside was the noise from the street and the church bells ringing the whole night. Also we had to carry our suitcases up the stairs, which was a pain.

This is a tricky place to review, but I will do my best to be fair. Firstly, if you're looking for a silvery, shiny, modern place with a touristy vibe, this place is Not for you. This is a place that will remind you that you're traveling-- in Mexico. That's what I look for when I travel and that's exactly what we got. We grew to love it here and found it very comfortable and above all, very central --minus all the tourist traffic that usually goes with staying in the old parts of towns. It is a little tucked away, in just the right ways, and this is always a big plus for me, and felt completely safe. There is a front key & key card system for the front door, that works quite well-- plus the area is quite safe feeling. The hotel is located inside an old convent which belonged to the cathedral of Felipe Neri, directly across the street. So, needless to say, the building is obviously an old bldg., and many old details have been preserved. We loved it for its charm and the very helpful and kind staff. As others have pointed out, it is directly over a bus stop and a public W.C. Neither of these two elements affected our tranquility and rest in Any way whatsoever! Mexico is noisy. We heard fireworks, church bells, honking, singing and music, and when we'd had enough, we closed the old heavy wood shutter doors, and it became completely silent and dark inside our room. True, no A/C, but we didn't need or miss it. SM is at a high altitude and was perfectly cool. We slept like carefree kittens. I loved being able to watch the day to day life of the town from the balcony (and got some great shots of life going ons from up there). Its central location couldn't have been more perfect, and we were still Not in the midst of a major tourist filled street, which tend to be quite noisy with the wrong sorts of ruckus. It felt more like we lived here for the 8 days of our stay, so the place itself became wonderfully interwoven into our trip. It can certainly be argued, as some have commented, that the decor of the room could definitely use some upgrading, and I did feel a bit underwhelmed by this at first-as I couldn't understand why in a town with so many beautiful artifacts, these were not used generously throughout the property, as they are used in many other hotels in the area. However, I quickly came to understand that this is a very different kind of place. The decor has been crafted to make it feel more like the efforts someone would have made in their home to make it more beautiful. It feels more like a genuine Mexican home which is maintained clean and comfortable but without pretense. It is not a cookie cutter boutique hotel, by any means. It has a personality of its own. Inside the room it felt more like we were staying in a native home. As far as location, everywhere you wish to go is walkable from here. In addition to the bus stop -- love it or hate it--there's also an ATM machine downstairs, which was very convenient, as there aren't many of these

I am very disappointed in the customer service offered at this hotel as well as with ***********. I booked a room and immediately after booking realized that the accommodations were not a fit and I tried to cancel the reservation to book something else that is a fit. I found out that even though the reservation is two months away and I tried to cancel the reservation instantly that this hotel accepts NO cancellations NO matter how fast you cancel or how far out the reservation is. *********** also does not have a cancellation policy in place to ensure people who use their site are are fully protected for a full refund within a reasonable amount of time. Now Im either stuck with a space that will not maximize the enjoyment of my vacation or I can lose $701.00 over accidentally booking the wrong type of accommodations and spend another $701.00 to book the accommodations that will maximize the enjoyment of my trip. Very disappointed in the unreasonableness of both the hotel and ***********. I would strongly caution booking a stay at this hotel as well as using ***********. If the hotel is this unreasonable about accommodating a full refund for a reservation that is two months away, I can only imagine what the actual hotel service is like when staying there. The attitude is, O well tough luck! Stay or don’t stay either way we have your money! Did I mention there is still a pandemic happening! I expect better from businesses! Especially when the request is ABSOLUTELY reasonable and within reasonable time!

Estás advertido, NO TE HOSPEDES AQUÍ. Si llegas a tener algún problema, la "dueña" te dejará hablando solo. Me da mucha pena por las personas que trabajan ahí, mis condolencias para ellos por tener que soportar a un bodrio de jefa todos los días.
