Travelers Reviews of San Mateo County Hotels

Hyatt Place San Carlos
4.7/541 Reviews
The location is very convenient, only 15 minutes drive south from the airport, and the surrounding environment is safe. If you want to go into the city and don't want to drive, you can take the Cal Train at San Carlos Station, 8,900 meters away from the hotel. The hotel is newly decorated, the rooms are cleaned very well, and the breakfast is very good among hotels of the same level in the United States, especially the daily fruit is very fresh. Parking is 10 US dollars per night, and the sign showed 12 a few days later, but it is much better than the city center. In general, it is an excellent choice for business trip accommodation, and it is also worth considering for tourism, just in the middle of San Francisco and San Jose.
Grand Hyatt at SFO

San Francisco International Airport Area
The stay was great considering the close distance between SFO and the Hotel. The Hotel accepted early checkin with a small fee. It us a gesture as traveler might fly in early and need to freshen up before going thru the business.
Holiday Inn Express San Francisco-Airport South
4.4/5145 Reviews
San Francisco International Airport Area
The room was really nice and everything was clean. The hotel is in a good location. The lady at the front desk was really nice and even allowed me to check in early. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars on service is because I emailed in advance to get instructions on how to catch the airport shuttle from the airport to the hotel, but I never received a reply. Outside of that, everything was really good. I would stay here again.

Sonesta ES Suites San Francisco Airport Oyster Point Waterfront
3.9/5103 Reviews
San Francisco International Airport Area
The hotel is located in the inner bay, at the end of the road, very very quiet, you can take a walk on the bay path when you go out, the environment is good, there is a train passing by, but no sound is heard at night. The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was a Western breakfast and parking was free. Surrounded by hotels and offices, there are matching restaurants, but no guests.
Hotel Aluxor SFO, Sapphire Boutique Collection
4.1/562 Reviews
San Francisco International Airport Area
The Indian guy at the front desk is very friendly and can store luggage. The hotel is right at the airport, so it is convenient to rent and return cars. It is a good choice if you drive yourself. The hygiene and facilities are quite standard, just a typical motel. There is a breakfast shop opposite the hotel, which is very convenient. The gas price at the nearby gas station is also cheaper than in the city. It is worth recommending.
