This is more a public swimming pool than a hotel. Beware…. Don’t go there unless you only want to stay at the public pool. Unfortunately we booked a room as well for two nights as we visited Salerno. They charge 20 Euros at weekends and 12 Euros during the week to stay at the pool. The hotel premises are clearly below 4 star standard standard when it comes to quality and hotel services. Private parties with loud music till 1am in the morning is the standard. Eventhough our room had a window to the parking lot the music was stealing our sleep. When we complained at 0.30am there was no excuse, simply the feedback that the sound can’t be heart in our room. Apperently the manager never slept in one of his own rooms with very thin walls as he was very defensive. No excuse at all. Breakfast is very simple, no fruit the first morning, no black tea (not everybody drinks coffee) and cheapest orange juice is served in plastic cub’s. I assume they serve water and juice at breakfast in plastic cubs because of Covid but this makes no sense as coffee is served in real mugs. Plates as well. I understand that this is because of the service they provide to pool visitors where scattered glas would be dangerous. During our two night stay we used the swimming pool only once after the first night (not at the day of arrival) but we wanted to use the pool at the day of departure. Can you imagine, that they wanted to charge extra for the pool now eventhough we had a room rate which included the pool? Have you ever seen a hotel which asked you to pay for the pool if the rate includes the pool? They told the pool is inclusive at the day of arrival which makes no sense at all. Only after the intervention of the manager we were allowed to use the pool at the day of departure. This is a place where they don’t care about client satisfaction. We paid 300 Euro’s for the 2 nights, left and will never come back. Beware !
