Great location. Very friendly staff. The room was clean and the area quiet. Coffee in the rooms and small danishes for breakfast.

Don't be fooled by the pictures of the Lamplighter Inn! The room was dirty. The carpet was old and stained. There was hair and mold in the bathroom. There was no handle to close the shower door and it would not close all the way. The electrical outlet was so worn out that my phone charger could not stay plugged in. We went to get coffee in the morning at a local coffee spot and upon returning our keys would not open the room. We had to go to the office at 7:00 am to get the keys recharged and were hasseled for ID. It would have been better to sleep in the car.

The room wasn’t cleaned before we got in there. The sink was full of actual dirt and towels were still on the floor. The pillows and sheets had stains.
The front desk person was very apologetic and tried getting us another room but even he wasn’t able to get 2 other rooms to open up (the doors were broken). At that point we just decided to get a refund.

Pool is not maintained and the hot tub is empty. Overall room is okay. Not bad but not good.

The Lamplighter is a very nice older motel with some architectural character. We enjoyed our stay. The usual amenities are provided

Tv didn’t work room was dirty remodeling dirty front desk useless. Never again I will stay in this place ever

The property has 3 buildings, with elevators available in the main building. This was helpful aa we were bicycle touring. There was a cute covered patio area outside the main building, but it was hard to enjoy as it seemed dirty and the trash bins were full.
