Love their family friendly super cool vibe. The living room, game room, shared full kitchen, dining spaces and of coarse the AMAZING garden courtyard create an incredible oasis in the middle of a bustling city! Only a couple blocks to a fabulous city park, shops, restaurants, the coliseum, pharmacies, dentists….right in the heart of things! We discovered this gem last year & shared it with a group this year!

Room wasn’t cleaned when I arrived, had to wait an hour for the sheets to be changed. Staff were nice and apologetic but I’d been on a long journey and I needed to rest. Cleaning was a bit iffy. Balcony door didn’t lock, didn’t feel safe there. Wouldn’t stay again.

Firstly if you’re considering staying in this hotel perhaps have a look at its reviews on booking dot com where is has a 9/10 rating from 391 reviews. For some reason it’s listing on TripAdvisor seems to be minimal. We spent a night there as a group of three while transiting through San Jose. PROS - ROOMs/COMMON AREAS - This is more a guesthouse than hotel. The common spaces are particularly large - huge kitchen, large living room with tv and couches, fish tank, resident hedgehog, small workout area, garden, etc. Would be a particularly nice place for someone staying in San Jose for an extended period as it feels like a home not a hotel. Our room also was nice. Comfortable beds. Clean. No air conditioning but San Jose is at such elevation that this doesn’t matter. - LOCATION - There was ampm convenience store only five minutes walk away. Not too far from bus station - short Uber ride. - WIFI - Worked well. - SERVICE - friendly. - SECURITY- suburb felt safe. Metal door at entrance. Room locked. - VALUE - only 43USD for the night which was very reasonable. Was hard to find budget-mid range options in San Jose. CONS - Bathroom situation is a little hectic. There are two showers but they are in the same room with some frosted glass so don’t really offer much privacy. As a result people lock the door to access both and so you can a bit of a line up in the morning.

Hotel tranquilo ordenado y limpio..atención muy cordial y amigable y confiable..sin duda un lugar que recomiendo y al cual volveré cuando regrese a San José. Está ubicado en una zona residencial tranquila y segura.. Es Pura vidaaa......

Ci siamo fermati solo una notte in questa bellissima struttura, ma siamo stati molto bene. Hanno camere al piano terra e primo piano, con bagno interno e/o condiviso. Qualcuna dotata anche di cucina. Tutto molto pulito e curato. Bello anche il giardino interno.
