We come here every year to celebrate our birthdays and we love it. But…..this year,when we opened the door to our room, we were met by a monkey sitting on the bed side table doing something very impromptu with his tackle . I shielded my wife’s eyes so she didn’t have to witness such a disturbing scene. After negotiating with the little critter,he left our room with no complaints but it did cost me 500 euros! We’ll be back! 👍

What a gem! The hotel is right by the beautiful beach of San Jose, and is easy reach of a host of restaurants, bars and cafes. The hotel is well appointed, the room was spacious, well appointed, clean and comfortable. The hotel provides a buffet breakfast which was very good. The terrace around the pool is excellent, and the pool was perfect. The Sky bar provides stunning views over San Jose. The whole team of the hotel were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. When they found out it was husband’s birthday they even surprised him with a birthday cake 🎂. We will be going again.

We stayed two nights at this hotel and we were pleased with it. I think the poor reviews came from before it was closed and reopened. I read somewhere that they reopened. The location is great, right on the beach. The room was very clean and the bathroom was large, clean, spacious vanity to put all your things, and good water pressure in the shower. The air conditioner worked GREAT (this can be difficult to find in Europe). It was nice that when we checked into the room, they already had the air con turned on for us. Our room had a small balcony that overlooked the pool and this was nice to be able to have a place dry our beach towels and put our beach gear. The room had a refrigerator which was also a nice touch. I liked that they hotel had firm, supportive pillows and NOT feather pillows. This allowed me to have a good night of sleep. I think the only thing I didn't like was the beds moved very easily. The town of San Jose and it's beach are fantastic. I would definitely stay here again and I hope the hotel continues to do well.

No había servicio de comedor, la habitación de dos camas 105 bastante estrecha, la puerta. Connllave de cerradura,(no magnetica) si sete queda por dentro en la puerta tienen que saltar por la ventana, en ser water, no ponen escobilla sistemáticamente. El personal bien.

El personal muy amable y simpatico , el desayuno bastante completo. La situación inmejorable, pero no se corresponde con un hotel de cuatro estrellas. A destacar como punto negativo que no tienen ducha si no bañera con cortinilla y la limpieza de balcones y cristales mejorables. La piscina necesitada de una reforma completa . Y no hay aire en los pasillos.
