Very close to the airport, with free shuttle bus, and a Japanese restaurant about 10 minutes walk away. The surrounding area is relatively quiet, the road is wide, there are some companies, no homeless, and it is relatively safe.

The room is OK. If you feel it is not good, you can change it at the service desk after entering the door and before touching anything. In general, the facilities are good and the service is OK (don't compare it with the high standards in China).
You can walk around the University of San Jose. There are not many restaurants around (or it is more accurate to say that there are none), but you can find something to eat at the airport
