We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a good experience. While the building and decor are quite dated and basic, everything was clean and well maintained. The real highlight was the staff — friendly, welcoming, and even had a great sense of humor, which added to the relaxed vibe of the place. The hotel isn’t fancy, but it does the job, especially for families looking for a budget-friendly option. The buffet was decent with enough variety to suit most tastes, and everything was kept simple and straightforward — which we appreciated. If you’re after luxury, this might not be for you, but if you’re looking for a clean, friendly, no-fuss stay with good value, this place delivers.

Just arrived home from a weeks trip to Valentin Son Bou and already missing it greatly! The hotel itself is beautiful, very clean, smells fresh and not too big (felt relaxing due to this). I struggle with food but often found something to eat and nothing was a problem if you asked for an alternative/change to the menu. Yes rooms were a little ‘dated’ but again, super clean and very comfy. I wish I could have taken the bed and pillow home with me! Never slept so well! I think the highlight of the hotel for us was the lovely staff who made it so memorable. We had a lovely waitress most nights/mornings (unfortunately didn’t get her name) but she was so kind and friendly towards my two boys. Special mention goes to Edgar, who played ping pong and other sports with my boys most days. They loved him! Thank you Valentin Son Bou….we will definitely be returning!

We had a holiday here in June with our daughter’s . The restaurant, reception and pool areas are modern and airy. The rooms as mentioned in other reviews are dated and need some tlc but they are extremely clean, along with the rest of the hotel. The beds are comfortable but pillows are a little firm for me. There is a wide variety of food options available along with the themed nights and everything is beautifully presented and we didn’t have to bat away any flies. Entertainment team work very hard to encourage or engage the guests to get involved. The variety of drinks is vast and they are brand names. All inclusive is all inclusive. Ice creams and bar snacks are available if you fancy a top up. There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, which is nice not having to fight for them. Lots of activities throughout the day so be as active or relaxed as you choose. The one thing that stood out was the staff, every single person we came across was friendly, welcoming and helpful. During the busier times the staff serving drinks at tables or the bar really could do with extra help because they are rushed off their feet but still smile and are extremely professional. We would like to say a huge well done to Alba x 2, Robert, Julia, Greta, Matteo, Ana, Edualdo, Ramon, Veronica, Juan Ramon, Lucia, Amos, Carmen and Jose, just a few we spoke to. The domestic staff who tidy the rooms are incredible and work so very hard and probably don’t always get acknowledged, so well done to them. The hotel would benefit from a small shop but the hotel transport to the local town runs frequently, so it’s easy to pop down to the supermarket and shops in Son Bou. We enjoyed our holiday so much we are returning again in September.

We have been going to this hotel since 1996 and it never fails to impress us. It is spotlessly clean and very well run . The staff are very well presented, helpful and polite. Raymondo runs the fabulous restaurant, which serves amazing food , such good quality and endless choices. The hotels shuttle bus driven by Manuel runs till 7pm in the evening with a little siesta during the day . There are day time activities like keep fit , water polo , archery. Every evening entertainment, and just a lovely place to feel comfortable and relax which is what holidays are all about.

We are a young couple in our mid-20s, and this was our first time staying at this lovely hotel — we were truly astonished! We opted for the all-inclusive package, and the service exceeded our expectations. Branded drinks, delicious food, and a different selection at the evening buffet each day made every meal feel special. At lunchtime, we usually ate at the pool bar, where the menu was extensive and the food consistently tasty. We were slightly concerned after reading some reviews about the rooms, but we booked a basic room with a balcony and no sea view — and it turned out to be absolutely lovely. It was spotlessly clean, had a large balcony with a peaceful forest view, a spacious fridge, a separate toilet room, and a very tranquil atmosphere. We stayed for 8 nights, and during that time, everything was smooth and relaxing. The shuttle bus to the beach was very punctual, and in just a few minutes we were at one of the most beautiful beaches in Menorca. The pool area was also excellent, with both the outdoor and indoor pools pleasantly warm. Entertainment was on a very high level. There were plenty of sports games and activities — Mateo, with his enthusiasm, made every game fun and engaging. Neftali, a very kind young man, crafted amazing cocktails, and waitress Alba was also incredibly kind and attentive. A special thanks goes to the reception team, especially Alice and Rasa. Rasa was not only friendly and professional but also extremely helpful — she showed us a map of the island, gave us great tips on what to visit, and explained all the hotel services clearly. People like her truly make you fall in love with the hotel even more. With the hotel in such a beautiful location and such amazing staff, this was our first visit — but definitely not our last. We’re already looking forward to coming back and have even recommended it to our relatives!

Just got back. From this fantastic hotel. From arrival to checking out everything from food. To Cleaning. To entertainment. And the service was amazing. Car hire service is arranged for you at the hotel. It is spotless. Cleaners are still cleaning at 11 at night. The food is amazing. The choice is so varied. Never used the mini bus service. But never heard any complaints about it. If you are going out for the day. An excellent picnic bag is prepared for you if ordered from reception the day before. The local beach in Son bou is amazing for young families as the water is not deep for the fist 100 meters up to knees only. Sun beds and parasol is 20 euros a day. We are an elderly couple.( Not easily pleased. Gumpy) But we were more than pleased. Never had such service before from a hotel in this country. They would just brush you off . But not at this hotel they pride themselves on putting it right for you.... Enjoy. Garry .
