The West House Boutique Hotel

This hotel is located in a walkable neighborhood with plenty of great restaurants and bars nearby. The rooms are spacious and brand new, very well maintained. The highlight of this hotel is Jilda who was the most amazing host. Jilda was sweet and so helpful. Jilda went above and beyond to make sure my husband could have a birthday surprise waiting for me at check in. She was also so wonderful to chat with about Belize and the surrounding area. Jilda

The hotel is modern and beautifully updated. It had only been open about 6 months when we visited the 1st week of December. The staff was welcoming and very helpful. They would call ahead and book dinner reservations for us. Only caution is the hotel is up a flight of stairs, with no elevator. However, the staff came outside in the pouring rain to offer us assistance with luggage. Downstairs, and affiliated with the hotel is a wonderful coffee shop where we enjoyed some delicious afternoon treats and lattes. The hotel has an open air lobby sitting area where you can order a cocktail and sit to enjoy it and visit. Not sure what it will be like in the the hat season as we it rained most of the time we were there.

Staff are excellent. Friendly and professional. They went out of their way for us during a tropical storm. Drove us to dinner at a resort when no taxis were available. Very comfortable hotel. Nice big well air conditioned room. Would definitely stay here again. Neighborhood around hotel is lively. Lots of restaurants and bars.

Well managed hotel Courteous and helpful staff Good location…welcome drink was nice. Walking distance to restaurants and downtown Spacious and clean room with nice balcony with sitting area…beds are amazingly comfortable. Bathroom and facilities are new. No breakfast but there is a good (expensive ) coffee shop downstairs

My stay at the West House Boutique Hotel was great! The staff were kind, friendly, and attentive. They provide water and have refill stations in the hotel, which is such a nice consideration to their hotel guests. The bed is very comfortable. The room offers a TV, AC, and a mini-fridge. There is also ample room to store your clothes. Although the hotel offers a coffee shop downstairs, there is no restaurant in the hotel. This simply offers you the chance to explore downtown San Ignacio, which is a beautiful city full of kind people. The hotel is a short walk away from restaurants, the local market, stores (both touristy shops and grocery stores) and the Welcome Center, where you can catch local buses. A note: If you book online, the website you book through (like *******) may not list all the rooms that are available. So, you may need to contact the hotel via their socials, phone, or email to inquire about availability of certain rooms and book your reservation that way. Thank you for making my first time in Belize such a great experience! I will definitely return. :)

Looked exactly like the pictures. Very clean, amazing showers, staff was very helpful. They were very accommodating during Hurricane Beryl, and for only being open a month they have done an amazing job with this place!! Great location, walking distance to downtown and Pop’s (great breakfast). Would definitely recommend.
