So this review it’s always related also how much you pay. For the price you get a really nice big room. Great mattress, amazing WiFi and in the city center of San Ignacio. Of course guesthouse it’s a bit old and would need a refresh but as I said for what you pay it’s a great deal.

We had an amazing experience here at Arnold's. The ladies at the front were so kind and were always offering to help out in any way needed. There is a fridge with drinks here for purchase, and also cold water to fill your bottle which was huge!!! The rooms were big and clean. We have nothing bad to say, we really enjoyed our stay at Arnold's.

We were here for a week & would definitely stay here again. Liza and her team are friendly and incredibly helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spotless. The furnishings are spartan but very adequate. The fridge has a freezer and we were able to make ice cubes for beverages. The drinking water with instant hot/cold options was fantastic for filling our water bottles. (24 hour access- in the hallway) The included breakfast was a great bonus. They arranged tours for us at bargain prices and all of our guides were excellent. We were picked up at the hotel. This is only a few blocks from Burns Avenue, where many of the restaurants and tourist needs are. This is a quieter location than many other guesthouses, although you can hear the church bells all over town.

Excellent location - a few steps from ATM, tour companies, and quite a few good eats. Just a bit uphill to avoid downtown noise. Also east walk to green iguana. Very caring staff. Spacious room! Their own restaurant is very reasonably priced. Don’t forget to ask them about the tours you are interested. They may be able to give you a great deal. Highly recommend!

J'ai passé 3 nuits dans ce guest house en janvier 2024. Sa situation est centrale et bien pratique quand on doit prendre le bus. Les gens sont charmants et de bon conseil. Les chambres sont propres avec climatisation et eau chaude. Je ne peux que conseiller cet endroit!
