Best Hotels in San Remo, Italy

Great hotel in perfect location adjacent to all the shops, restaurants, harbor and beach. This was our second stay at hotel. Staff were all very helpful and spoke English, and accommodated our request for early check-in. We had 3 single rooms on the second floor, all near each other, and we were fortunate to each have a balcony. Rooms were beautifully remodeled, modern, well appointed and very clean. Highly recommend!

The reception was good, we find the check-in a bit late. The room was very good, confortable and agreable with vue of the sea. Unfortunately the blinds cannot be fixed open so the wind bangs them around. The Wellness center was perfect, with a good massage. The thing which was unfortunate and I think a big problem is the restauration the meals in the evening were not good and on both occasions cold! I asked for a glass of chianti wine the responsable said ”no” I could not beleive this no explication? The breakfast was very good as well. Being french we like perculated cafe in mugs, but all we could have is italien expresso (which is good, dont get me wrong ) but it is so small quantities. As for the traditional ”Aperitivo” go into town they only serve a bowl of crisps.

Location in the center on a narrow street pedestrian! Nearby there is everything. Before the sea 10 minutes walk . The room is spacious, comfortable. There is a refrigerator, the air conditioner worked perfectly. Excellent staff on the wotsapp. In general, a great option to live right in the center of San Remo!

I stayed 3 nights (triple double use) and I have to say that the very spacious room and large bathroom. I didn't expect to change towels and a minimum of cleaning every day honestly. The area is perfect! You are in the centre, 2 steps from the first beach and near the station. Advice to improve: There is no reception, but I would pay more attention to contacts via email. If I didn't call, I would never have received a response. Put at least a small summer refrigerator or machinery where you can buy water.

Very satisfied, the location is very good, right at the beach, convenient for eating and shopping. Although it is an old hotel, it is all worthy of this price. Too much cheaper than in Monaco

Das Hotel ist frisch renoviert, alle Zimmer sauber und geräumig. Einige Zimmer sind nur über lange Gänge erreichbar. Die Bar ist etwas minimalistisch. Wir waren fast 100 Personen, was wahrscheinlich der Grund für das mittelmässige Essen war (gut aber nichts spezielles). Zum Frühstück gibt es ein grosses Buffet mit vielen Kuchensorten, aber leider nur mit 1 Brotsorte (natürlich Baguette). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und gibt sich Mühe, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Das Hotel ist mit grossen Bussen nicht erreichbar. Das Hotel stellt deshalb kleine Shuttlebusse zur Verfügung.

What a stay - what a hotel!! We have just returned from an excellent road trip along the coast of France and Italy and The Royal Hotel Sanremo was the highlight of our accommodation. A true 5 star hotel by any standards. Safe and secure parking for our cars, excellent service, fresh and cold beer and snacks, a perfect dinner recommendation, a 5 star spa, a first rate breakfast and all combined with a luxury room and sea view. Special thanks to Adrian on reception who booked us dinner at Flipper seafood restaurant in town and took care of our needs during the stay. Worthy of a mention of its own is the Spa facilities which felt brand new and incredibly clean. Highly recommend this hotel!!

The hotel is very clean and is very clean. The hotel is very clean and is very clean. The staff are at the top, also in the restaurant. The clean pool with the handbags available. Parking available on booking, but with a large car, foresee a few manoeuvres. A bemol for the WiFi, does not work very well. Good note also for the restaurant. Perfect menu and excellent service. In short, I recommend this hotel despite a little high price, but we are in San Remo.

Pros: very spacious one bed apartment...which for me travelling alone was huge. Fab bedroom with king size bed. Fresh clean bed linen. Massive modern bathroom with large walk in shower. Always ample hot water. Loads of fresh white towels, 4 bath, 4 hand & more. Ample loo roll. Main room was kitchen/ diner combined with a made up double sofa bed in it and doors leading to balcony. Hob & oven fine. An assortment of basic cookware. Nice sea view over the rooftops. Hairdryer in bathroom was good. 5 mins downhill walk to supermarket, pharmacy, bars & nearest shops. Steep uphill hike on return!. Cons: no full length mirror, no dressing table, no corkscrew or bottle opener. No kettle ( i used a saucepan for water boiling) or iron. No sharp knives for cutting bread or prepping veg. No ice cube tray. No teatowel or washing up stuff. No brush to sweep up with. Only 3 coathangers. Not a ball breaker but worth considering when packing!...take a corkscrew, icecube tray coathangers teatowel dishcloth & sharp kitchen knife. I found check in diffic ult being on my own with a heavy suitcase...up alot of stairs. You then need a taxi to the apartment from check in place...unless u are driving. Also it simply isn't possible to check in before 3pm. Dont let the shoddy dirty check in building deter you...apartment is much nicer once inside. About 1&1/2km from the marina & main seafront area with shops bars restaurants & cafes all the way. Ideal apt for a couple.

Really good hotel with 3 stars but deserves 5 stars, best locations near Sanremo attractions, really good parking plot free of charges, nice modern clean rooms, great socials areas, superb restaurant and food and really really good breakfast, cross the road to Nobel villas and parks magnificent sight seen Sea shores, easy walks to downtown and 10 minutes from Sanremo music festival theater.
