"Great inexpensive place. If you need to sleep for the night it is perfect. If you are looking to lounge by a pool with your kids, keep looking because this is not for you. They have nice televisions in the room, and access to the shower and bathroom n the hall. Coffee by reception area."

"Everything is good except for the location. The hotel was nice but when you go outside, there are a lot of homeless people. Not the hotel’s fault. I would also suggest to change at least the breakfast options everyday."

"The hotel is quite dated and feels dirty (even though it's clean). The Tenderloin area was something to avoid a couple of years ago. Now, it's not one of the best, but it's not too bad, and it's close to downtown and well-connected. For the price, I would stay at the hotel again."

"The hotel is in a great location, next to Chinatown and Union Square. It's also very convenient to eat at the restaurant downstairs. The only problem is that breakfast is not buffet style, but a la carte style, with fewer choices and no fruit. The service was good, and I will stay here again next time I come to San Francisco."

"The location was excellent, and the room was in great condition thanks to a recent renovation. There were plenty of good restaurants nearby, which made dining easy and enjoyable. Most importantly, the parking area felt secure and well-managed. I’d love to stay here again on my next trip."

"The hotel is very conveniently located for attending the conference at Moscone Center. It is less than 10 mts walk. There is a BART station within 2-5 mts walk. The hotel location is downtown and you will find homeless people and drug users nearby. Especially at night need to be careful. The hotel staff are extremely nice and helpful. I really like the hotel because of the service attitude of the staff. The rooms are decently big, have adequate space for luggage, clean and well maintained. The bathroom is small. There is no separate hot water kettle and we have to use the coffee maker. They provide free coffee and tea . The free wifi connection was fine in my room. There is a fantastic breakfast place right next door. We did not opt for breakfast with our room booking. But we ate there many days. Excellent food and service! Their house potatoes, french toast, omelettes and other dishes were excellent. Must try! There is a shopping center and multiple eateries near by. Tried a few different food options, but did not have time for shopping. Overall Pickwick is a very good hotel and is value for money, especially for business travelers attending events/conference at Moscone center."

"Hotel service is not something you should expect from a hotel. The basics are unlimited towels and all the facilities in the room. There is a refrigerator, microwave, sink, dresser, and TV in the room, and you have to use the shared bathroom in the hallway for the toilet and shower. The room is cleaned upon request, and you can throw away your trash in the trash room in the hallway, so if you don't want to be disturbed, it's a really good hotel."

"The location of the hotel is very good! Just on the edge of Chinatown. Going to the downtown business street can walk past and not far from the beach. There are several people in the hotel who are Chinese and the language exchange is very convenient."
