Friendly staff, Clean , convenient and close to Powell station, union square plaza , Chinatown.
They serve coffee, tea , muffins, cakes from morning 07:30-10:00.
We stayed total 7nights.

It’s a rustic old building in a superb location in the city. The carpets, walls and lifts are charming. Bed was sunken and that isn’t something comfortable to sleep in. Fan was noisy and I don’t get why there’s the $10 per night amenities fee when I would have already paid for the room earlier?

A well located hotel with comfortable rooms. A continental breakfast was included in the cost which was pleasant. Staff very helpful

Small room but good service (except for one time when maid asked for tips for turndown service which is included per se). Feels like home

The hotel was great in almost every aspect, it was nice that even though breakfast was not included they still offered coffee, pastries and fruits in the morning. The only downside was an amenities charge of 20 dollars that we were not aware of. Supposedly that for wifi when it said it was already included.

I like its location as I could easily find restaurants for pancakes and fried chicken. And it offered a great deal of breakfast (nice bread and coffee)
However, the water heater in my room took too much time to heat up, which was a little bit annoying (especially when the weather is cold).

Discrimination at check-in, no heating at all in the room, too cramped in the room, and rude behavior of the cleaner (I just come in and run into it even if I put a no-disturb sign) Hot water is lukewarm only when you leave it on for 15-20 minutes ----- Don't go
