It’s cheaper, there are not many places to park in the city for free, and his home is full of houses these days.

Although it is not in Union Square, which everyone chooses, I personally think it is better here. First, the price is cheaper than United, and the second is the convenient transportation. There are many buses at the door. It is convenient to go anywhere. The bus costs $3 per person, and it’s free within two hours. By the way, the room is very new, smart toilet, I booked the cheapest room, so the space is quite small, the two suitcases are spread out, not easy to put, but the room design is reasonable, I like it. There is no breakfast. After paying the full amount for the room, I paid another 200 USD deposit, which has not been refunded.

I totally enjoyed my stay during a 4-days at this place. The location is super convenient, take 101/130/150 to go to Union square, walk a little bit and take 19 to go to Beach Road. If you are adventurous, you can actually walk to the Downtown. I had to check in early as my flight landed a bit advance. They allowed me to early check in at a nominal fee which is totally acceptable. Also the cityscape view from hotel is amazing! I felt the place is safer, all amenities provided (ironing bed, hangers, refrigerator, iron box, coffee and tea bags… so on). I would certainly stay here again and highly recommend checking this out. The hotel is just 100 meters from the 16th Mission Street exit. The owner is a Panamanian (Indian) and the service is very warm. The size of the house is small, except for the public shower and toilet, the rest are private. There are many black people downstairs, but they are safer than you think. Single girls are not recommended to travel alone at night.

The location of the hotel did not say that it is convenient to go anywhere, and there are many places to eat, and there are restaurants in all tastes. After all, it is an old hotel for many years. The decoration and facilities are a bit old. There is no coffee, tea or boiling water in the room. Although it is provided free of charge in the lounge area on the first floor, it is only available for a certain period of time. It was never used once during the stay anyway.

When we reached hotel, we were informed to pay destination fee of USD25 (excl tax) per day, you may use it to make purchases in hotel. Need to request for kettle n bedroom slippers n etc. The shower tap was so confusing to use. The toiletries was not check n refill (eg: no conditioner at day 3). There is only 1 toilet roll, no spare one. The phone can only use with speaker, cannot use receiver cos there is no cord. The service is below expectation for a reputable hotel like Westin n destination fees is really a surprised.

We really enjoyed this lovely hotel. The rooms were bright and super clean. We loved the Japanese-inspired bathrobes and the comfy window seat with nice city views. We really liked the decor in the rooms and lobby. There was plenty of storage, and a refrigerator to keep leftovers. The only downside is the fitness room, which is very basic. We enjoyed the location with close access to many shops and restaurants.

Stayed here for 2 nights and was pleasantly surprised. Prices are quite affordable considering it's in San Francisco. The location was great. I booked this hotel in particular primarily because of its rather close proximity to the BART station. It is indeed only a 10-minute walk from Montgomery station, although if you're arriving from the airport be prepared to drag your bags uphill. The hotel is smack dab in the middle of Chinatown in a rather busy area. I never felt unsafe here, whether evening or early morning, as there are always people milling about minding their own business. If you like walking, you can journey to Fisherman's Wharf within 30 minutes on foot, which is what I did. You can also walk in the opposite direction toward Westfield and Target if you like to shop. There are several bus stops and tram lines nearby. As for the room, it was small but didn't feel cramped. There's no air-conditioning but it was rather chilly in July so I had no issues with heat. No problems with the shower either. Checking in and out were a breeze. I was even able to order food through GrubHub (because most restaurants in that area close at 8 pm even on weekends, which I found out the hard way!) I suppose my only complaint would be that you can definitely hear your neighbors at all times. I could hear someone stomping on the floor above, and sometimes I'd get noise from the rooms adjacent to mine. I was able to sleep just fine, though, as the bed was really comfortable. I'd changed my hotel to this one at the last minute and I'm glad I did. Apart from the occasional noise, I had a lovely stay.

The location is very lively, surrounded by mature commercial blocks, the biggest problem is parking. The parking lot is 30-50 dollars a night, and there is still a certain distance from the hotel. You can also park on the side of the road, but it depends on whether you want to move the car the next day. Because there are sweepers working early in the morning, you must pay attention to the time instructions on the roadside. The decoration of the room is very British style, the wallpaper is very beautiful!
