Hotels near Sant’Enrico church in San Donato Milanese

Extremely old and low quality building, no aircon and the air corculation is so noisy that it keeps you awake at night. This is by very very far the worst Crown Plaza we experience on the planet. And as response to this negative review you will passive-aggressively told that you are the problem and not the hotel, even though the place already has a comparably very low rating, rightfully so. To hotel: Our other hotel reviews are certainly none of your business, but improving the „hotel“ would be, which you obviously could not care less about. Just sad for the IHG brand, this turns out to be an absolutely mismanaged place and hurts the rest of the brand. Instead of spending time to read customer’s history reviews and trying to blame your own customers WITHOUT any solid reason, how about better to use such time to improve the hotel services, which a professional customer service that Crown Plaza should do. That’s also the job you should do as the hotel pays you for. Thank you!

As it says in the title, average hotel in dire need of an upgrade. The staff are lovely, the food is average and the rooms are bland and in need of upgrading. The bathroom in my room especially (the opening to the shower was only fit for ”skinny” people). The reception area and bar while dated are very nice but you wouldnt want to spend much time there. The location of the hotel is good, plenty of places to eat literally on the doorstep and the underground to the centre of Milan is only a short 10/15 min walk away. All in all, its not the worst hotel I've stayed in but unless you are getting it at a discounted rate then I'd consider others in the area instead.

Hotel location in the suburbs of Milan, very quiet around, 7 minutes walk from S1 train station, 3 minutes walk from community warehouse supermarket, very close to residential area, many restaurants around, hotel room comfortable suitable for business trip

Wonderful place to stay in! The hotel is comfortable and nice, staff is very, very friendly and the rooms are clean. The rooms have lovely balconies. Soundproofing was bad though - I could hear everything happening in the corridor. Also there was a (locked) door leading from my room to the one next to me and when my ”neighbour” was taking a shower or watching TV, I could hear everything so well that I woke up one morning my shower was on. The location is bit weird, but worth the train ride and walk.

When they arrived, they could check in half an hour before, the phone in the room was burned and the light of the comfort was not working. I asked to make a check out later (at least one hour and I was asked to pay a early check out of € 30 (a little expensive x an hour more) Good cleaning The parking is a little limited, I had to leave x road my car

After reading all the mixed reviews, I won't lie, I was not sure what to expect. The images on the site looked great so I stayed optimistic. We landed at Bergamo and got a coach transfer to Milan Centrale which was around €60. We had 2 large suitcases so got a private taxi to the hotel which was roughly €20. Be prepared to do lots of walking!! We checked in at 2pm and paid the local tax, and the staff were lovely, all bar one who was always a bit grumpy !! The staff were more than accommodating and welcomed us so well and one of the ladies gave my children a little Minions activity pack each which they loved. Breakfast was included in our package which I didn't realise- brilliant! The selection was good and I was impressed by how many alternative milks they had as well catering to those with intolerances/allergens ie a gluten free diet. (I would however recommend that the gluten free items be placed further away from the pastries and cakes to prevent cross contamination, as well as a separate toaster) Fresh juice was available everyday as well as a good selection of fruit salad, cakes, pastries and different kinds of teas. I would suggest a few more options for those that do not eat meat. Nonetheless the breakfast was great- especially the marble cake!! We had use of the pool and gym included. My children would stay in the pool all day if they could but it was great to cool down in as it is incredibly hot!! The gentleman at the desk suggested taking the 27 tram into the city centre, and this is just a short walk away from the hotel. It takes roughly 20 mins max to get to the centre and runs every 10 mins which is great. We purchased a travel card (3 day and 2 day separately) for €12 and €8 which covered bus, train, tram and metro. (These can be purchased at convenience stores or the metro station). Children also travel free on public transport as far as I know. The rooms were big enough for us and were tidy on arrival. We didn't need housekeeping everyday but the ladies who did come in did a fabulous job and didn't disrupt any of our items. These ladies were lovely and always smiled when we greeted them. We had air conditioning which was a god send as it was very hot during our visit- nearly 40°C!! WiFi is included but you have to get daily codes which was a bit annoying but the gentleman at the desk gave us enough to cover the last few days of our trip. The hotel was clean and tidy as well as smelling nice- I need to know what fragrance is used in the lobby!! The staff were great and I cannot thank them enough for all their help during our staff, they are a credit to the Novotel chain. I'm really sorry I didn't catch any names during our stay, but can gladly recommend this hotel to my friends and family! Arrivederci!!

We were 4 on a trip between Lombardie / Vénétie. We shared a room for 4 which was nice, very clean and well equipped . Breakfast was excellent with a many choices . The hotel is quiet and has a very nice park with some kids activities . You cas also enjoy a fitness room. There is also a pool but not try as we were in April. Very good choice !

Great secret apartment getaway in a residential building near San Donato Railway Station and Subway Station in Milan. The place has everything you need for an extended stay. It is a fully furnished 1BR apartment. The owner is a wonderful man who takes impeccable care of his property and loves interacting with people. This is a gem of a place. Definitely worth the visit for anyone staying near Linate airport

This is my preferred hotel when I’m in Milan for a work trip. The room is good and bed can give a quality sleep however last time I was freezing since the room was not really warm. The breakfast is also good as well as dining here. Only downside is that the hotel do not provide something on arrival, everything is extra charge especially water cost 3 euros.

The hotel is multi storey and well situated and has underground secure parking, There are numerous shops, restaurants and a large COOP supermarket very close by. Although the mall area immediately behind the hotel has seen better days, there is also a nice park close by for walking the dog if you have one with you.. The nearest metro station is also within a ten minute walk.The rooms are a decent size and modern with a TV offering a good selection of channels including some Sky and internet. Breakfast is served on the 1st floor, food choices are fairly standard. The only negative was due to the fact that there was quite a strong wind during the night of our stay which caused a high pitched sound as it whistled around the aluminium framed windows (we were on the 8th floor) making it difficult to sleep peacefully, even though the bed itself was quite comfortable.There were only two pillows in the room on arrival but room service brought us two extra on request. There is no fridge in the room, which would be useful given the very hot summer. Fortunately the A/C unit was working and kept the room cool and comfortable.
