Hotels in Misson Bay / Loma Heights, San Diego

Great value for a budget traveler. Older motel-style property, but well-maintained with modernized furnishings and bathrooms. Comfortable beds that compare with my more common Marriott stays. I found my room lighting to be a bit disappointing (too dim), no breakfast option, but there are several nearby diners and a Vons supermarket are within 5 mins walking distance. The location is not central to much unless there’s a sports event at the arena, but it’s easy to get places by Uber or a pretty decent mass transit network (if you have the time…. As it could double or triple your travel time) The MTS route 8 bus stops right out front. We went all the way to Torrey Pines Beach for $2.50 each way (bus 8 to Old Town, blue trolley toward UTC, then the 101 to Torrey Pines State Park for a hike with great views!). And, in only about 60-70 mins, and we’re able to fit in a trip to LaJolla cove on the way back.I

Local orders are for the hotel's annex building, no bathtub, air conditioning sounds slightly louder at night. The double bed was a pleasant surprise. The hotel is very close to Sea World, 3 minutes drive. The restaurant at the hotel's seaside can taste, but the price is slightly higher than expected.

I stayed for two nights and I was out every day. I did n’t enjoy the resort service, but I still paid the resort fee. When I drove by car, I parked in a few free parking spaces at the door. A lot. The outdoor pool is beautiful, but closed early

The location is super good. There is a super delicious Phil's bbq next to it. The room is large and the facilities are very new. The front desk clerk is super friendly. The parking lot is indoor. Overall impeccable. Recommend everyone to live here

We loved the location. Family of four with 2 kids ages 9 & 10 loved the different pools and husband and I enjoyed the fire pits by the pool. The rooms were modern and up to date. The beds were not comfortable and the lack of pillows made it hard to sleep for someone who is used to minimum of 2 pillows per person. The views were amazing and a lot of exploring to do around the resort.

It is a very general American motel, with poor ventilation and a little taste. The male receptionist at the front desk is still nice. There are supermarkets, discount stores, gas stations around, it is more convenient.

The location is a bit biased. The price is OK. Breakfast and its simplicity. There is no need to set a room with meals. It was the most rudimentary breakfast on the Western Front. In addition, the room was not clean. There are bed bugs. Bitten. Not recommended.

Very comfortable bed. Room was very spacious and clean. I felt like I was at home. Definitely will stay here again. Very affordable and it was nicer than I thought.

I've been traveling during this pandemic. Have been from 5 to 1 star hotels. AirBnB's and motels. Not one has yet compared to the service and accommodations I have received here. I'll keep it simple. Also, I apologize for my french. It doesn't do him professional justice. However, in terms of how complicated my predicament was, and how relievingly* simple the gentleman made it. It comparatively translates to this. Nick's the sh** I felt like a had found a cities hidden gem. I wanted to move in. Thank you America's Best Value Inn Loma Lodge. At first glance, the hotel, as its name suggests, has a history, but it is well maintained and decorated. The location is close to the old city station, the traffic is very convenient, and the airport is not far away. There is actually a swimming pool in the hotel. Although it is a bit cool now, it is still quite surprised.
