Riverleaf Inn Mission Valley

For us, River Leaf is a staple in a hotel rooms. You know it's always the same. A basic sure thing to fall back on. It's got everything you need but it's bottom line basic not a single thrill about it

First, you need to know that 8 months ago I trashed my lumbar spine and I still have pain and numbness with tingling all down each leg. So when it's bad I have trouble "doing". Went down to the hotel to check in. When I got there the fire alarms were going off and the building was apparently locked down. NOBODY was in the office, which was locked anyway. I stuck my head in the service window but couldn't call anybody to the desk. Knocked on the counter at the window. No response. So, I limped bacj to the car and phoned Riverleaf. Me: "Are you going to reopen tonight?" Woman on phone: "What do you mean?" Me: "When I got there the fire alarms were going off, the doors were locked and nobody was in the office." Woman says they're not closed. I describe the situation. She again says they're not closed. I'm thinking "a building with the exterior entrances locked is closed, my friend." But ok, whatever. So I get back out of the car and get to the night window. Where there at at least 5 people now. I unfold my cane-chair and sit. I hear what sounds like multiple creditcardrefusals. And the line isn't moving. I waited as long as I could but the lumbar spine injury can cause sudden incontinence....... Made it back to the car before I wet my pants. I wet them in the car. After that I left and didn't come back.

The remote was broken and the TV channels did not change. The TV was stuck only on one channel and since the TV remote did not work I was forced to only watch that one channel and none others. I was able to turn the TV only but when I tried to flip the channels the remote would not work. Also the Jacuzzi would not heat up and when I tried to go in the jacuzzi the water was cold and the Jets would not heat up.

Is a hotel but also an hotel for people without a place to leave. There are family and person who leave there. The bed are not very good. No microwave in the room. Leek st the tape. We did travel all over nevada, California and Utah. This place was the worst during our trip.

This is a great inn it’s reasonably priced the rooms are nice. It’s a no-frills place to stay however, the staff in itself makes this a five star hotel. They are some of the best staff members I’ve ever dealt with friendly, competent, professional, and compassionate. They actually care about their job

It was good. However the parking structure was HORRIBLE!!!! The hotel didn’t have hotel parking so we had to park on the side of the street. All the way towards the stop sign which was at the end of the street. It was a good 5 min walk with a baby and luggage. Everything else was great. Except parking.

The room was dirty, no water pressure. And it was surrounded by homeless people and smells.

The Riverleaf may not be a 5⭐️ place, but Raul and his staff are all 5⭐️ in every way. My reservation got mixed up, and the woman on duty that night fixed things for me till the manager (Raul) arrived in the AM. He came in and fixed my entire reservation, and even knocked a little off the rate for the inconvenience. Also San Diego had heavy rain and flooding, and they offered everyone a full reimbursement if they wanted to leave and not get flooded in! Awesome!!! Thank you for everything Riverleaf!
