Our family is carrying two children, so I think the whole is not bad, the space is big enough, the bathroom and the shower room are separate, and the people are more convenient. Hotel location is good, because San Diego is not big. The cleaning person was very caring and wrote a note to us. General facilities, four stars are barely, American breakfast is also general, you can eat.

It was our 30 year anniversary . We wanted to walk down memory lane . Doubletree Hilton was the perfect place to do so . The trolley is like 100 ft from the hotel , wow !!!! We were there for 4 days and we only spent $12 dollars on transportation the whole time . We went to the seaport village , old San Diego village , San Diego zoo , little Italy , the can even take you near to the gondola rides . This hotel is pet , kid , business , couple friendly . Restaurants , FedEx , food stores , right outside . Indoor outdoor pool , gym , jacuzzi , Starbucks . Isabella is an awesome receptionist !!! Knowledgeable , friendly . This hotel is carefully paced to give you the best indulgence of the area . Great job guys !!!!

The hotel literally stole my payments. I made a reservation for two nights. The first night I was coming from Los Angeles. There was a state of emergency flash flood warning that prevented travel until 2:00 am. I arrived at the hotel exhausted at 3:30 am only to be told my reservation FOR BOTH NIGHTS was cancelled as a no-show and to come back at 7:00 am or 9:00 am or 9:30 am to talk to a manager. It was too late to make a reservation elsewhere so I was up all night. I called at 8:30 am and asked the front desk clerk for the manager. She said he’d come in At 9:00 or 9:30 am but she could try to help. I explained the situation. The clerk said my reservation was nonrefundable and because I showed up after midnight on the first night, I was technically a day late and so they had the right to cancel the room and not refund it. I later spoke to the incredibly rude manager SANTIAGO who said I was responsible for reading the fine print and he had no sympathy for my plight. I said there is no such policy that you can keep my payment for two nights because of a late night arrival on night one. In fact there was no published time limit policy at all. He said yes there was and he’d email a snapshot of it to me. I asked again if he’d approve of a refund from the third party agency who charged it. He had no idea what I was talking about and said even if he knew how to do it he wouldn’t and then hung up on me. This business model is an absolute disgrace. Also, I don’t know if they’re still affiliated with La Quinta, it appears as though they might be, in which case this thieving enterprise is damaging the Wyndham hotel name by their disgraceful, unprofessional, and downright malicious conduct. I hope the $135 and change was worth it.

I stayed here for just one night on Monday, August 22. This is my first stay at this Homewood Suites location. I checked in near the check-in time; however, was given a key that didn't work twice. That means two extra trips to the front desk. I was in a room on the 5th floor across from the elevator bank. I did not experience any hallway or hotel noise. It was pretty quiet. The view from the sole window was of the hills behind the hotel and of the neighboring timeshare resort. There is parking both on the surface lot and some under the hotel with easy elevator access. Parking is currently $22.00 per night. The gym was well equipped for a hotel this size, and I was able to use it on Monday afternoon. The room itself was nice overall. It looked clean to me, it truly did; however, there are just some glaringly obvious things that make you scratch your head and say ”but how clean is it?”. I walk into the bathroom and there is a trump sticker center of the bathroom door frame. What? How does a housekeeper not notice this huge sticker while leaving the bathroom? A maintenance person randomly entered my room at about 4pm on Monday afternoon, after I checked in with no maintenance call made and no knock on the door. Then on Tuesday morning, I did receive a late check-out. I came back to grab my bags and change and noted my key card was already deactivated. Guess what? I had to go to the front desk another THREE times to get a card that worked, each time they assured me this one would work, and it didn't until the fourth time. Do you see a pattern here? If this happened this many times to me during a one night stay, how many guests does this happen to in one day? So, overall, it was a nice property in a nice location; however, the key card issue, the sticker and the maintenance person. Come on? These are things that are weird, odd and just shouldn't happen. Oh, I almost forgot to add that I did take advantage of the breakfast, and found it to be very satisfying and sufficient.

🗺️Location: There is an office area around, but there is a small mall opposite, which is very convenient for shopping and eating. The only inconvenience is that the hotel door is on a one-way street, and it is a bit troublesome to go back to the hotel on the other side. 🌳Environment: The floor is very high, there is a large swimming pool on the garden floor, and there are sofas and bamboo chairs outside the lobby on the first floor, which looks very comfortable. 🏨Facilities: After all, American hotels are old, so the facilities are not very new, but passable. There is a bar in the lobby, a convenience store, and a business lounge for members. There is no alcohol, only drinks and fruits. 🏠 Room: spacious and bright, with good hygiene. The bedding is very comfortable, and the curtains have good shading effect to ensure the quality of sleep. The bathroom is very new, except that there are no disposable items, (you can ask the front desk for lotion, combs, etc.) everything else is very good. All in all, highly recommended! Very friendly hotel. Because I didn't get a free room upgrade, my parking fee was waived, thank you very much!

In the middle of the night, I want a toothbrush to go to the lobby and say that I was taken by other households. I have to wait until 6 in the morning. The parking lot elevator has also been broken and has been repaired. I don't know if I am bad luck or the hotel itself.

Ok it’s time I set this record straight for everyone, especially the haters. This place is a bargain. Now, it is an older property and definitely for lower maintenance folks. You high-maintenance folks won’t like it. But the room is the biggest single King room I’ve stayed in outside of Las Vegas. The in-room kitchen is highly functional. They are super dog friendly and there are a few decent grassy areas. They offer free laundry! They have a sufficient and reasonably-priced snack & supply cupboard for purchase. The exercise room! It’s small and a bit commotion but the cardio and weight options are legit, and it’s open 24/7. I haven’t missed a day since I’ve been here. The staff have all been super helpful and friendly and I haven’t felt anything less than hospitable the whole time. But most of all, they are compassionate and helpful to extended-stay guests. And I’m not always easy to deal with. I’m really surprised at the negative reviews. I think they’re largely unwarranted. If you want fancy schmancy, you can go pay $100-200 more at any of the newer properties. It is called Hotel Circle. You can pay for more if you want more. But don’t come to the bargain and expect fancy schmancy. You’re shopping at Gucci with a Macy’s budget. This place is….a bargain!!!

I love my stay at ESA Hotel Circle! From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted and welcomed by the assistant manager,Chris. He answered all my questions regarding the availability in the hotel. His professionalism prompted me to book a room that same day. Also. before I even stepped into the room, Chris went the extra mile and made sure everything was perfect checking out the room first. Everything is perfect. The room is comfortable and very clean and relaxing.
